James is struggling to find the money Kane has demanded. He asks Dilly to pay him the money Rafe owed him, but discovers that Rafe was broke and there is no money. He is curious why Rafe left Sienna a 'fedora hat' in the will and searches the manor for it. He sends Sienna and Liberty off to find it in the attic, while he searches downstairs. He finds the hat, £300,000 and a note from Rafe gifting the money to Sienna. He takes the money, but accidentally drops the letter on his way out, which falls under some furniture. Kane later corners Romeo, tells him that despite James paying him, he's not forgiving James for framing him, that it's because James and Ste killed Ella, and then stabs Romeo...
