PLEASE LET OUT KNOW how the new S21's handle. Bridgestone is claiming an extra 36% better wear life but better Grip.

awesome I would assume this is suppose to compete with the Power 3's. Which even I admit that's a very high bar to set. I would Never get on the throttle the with the same intensity on the S20 or S20evo's like I would on the Pilot Power 3's. Normally I'm turning on about 20% to MAYBE 35% throttle at the apex with the bridgstone rubbers. However with the Power 3's I can Hammer down 50-65% on my 2013 ZX6R and it just inspires SO much confidence to just know you can grab a fist full and just crank it to Rocket out the corners. If the new S21's Can compete with that I would be blown away.

Why cant you guys ship race tires to west of the Mississippi? Did Lewis and Clark write your Pirelli contract? C'mon, its 2016, ship those beautiful black tubes our way.
@sportbiketrackgear9 жыл бұрын
+CatDaddyRachel It would be nice but it is part of our distribution agreement as a trackside vendor. We are only allowed to sell tires in the region that we vend at the race track. Wish we could help you out!

***** ya, our pirelli dealers jack up the prices for some strange reason. Im just going to end up getting dunlops after i run through my remaining SC2s.

Hmm, depends a bit on your bike and how you ride it. I ride mid pack A group and I use SC2 slicks or SC2 supercorsas on my SV650 track bike. They last about 3-4 track days and seem to be pretty forgiving. Pretty much everyone Ive ever talked to that has used s UK made dunlop Ntec said they were absolutely the best tire they've ever used, hands down, but they also come with an extremely premium price tag. The US made Ntecs have gotten better and better since their introduction but they're still not on the same level as the UK made tires. Bridgestone also makes a great race tire but they're a tad pricey and they seem to wear the fastest out of all the brands ive tried. Since you live in California, Pirelli is probably your best option to go with since they have trackside support at nearly every track in the state. Dunlop is also pretty common but it seems as though I see a pirelli vendor every time I go to the track.
