I can't get over how much I enjoy the look of the Fountain Telling 3 Olive Martini pen. So much that I sought out their Socials. I wish the pattern matched up when capped though.

I totally agree with you on the Kaweco Sport, Pilot Iroshizuku pairing. My Collection Iridescent Sport F-nib is currently inked with Kiri-Same and my Black Skyline Sport EF-nib is inked with Take-Sumi. Both write smooth as glass in my journal with Midori MD paper and my sketchbook with Midori MD Cotton paper. These pens are definitely in the “always inked” category for me!

I'm always amazed by how gorgeous your Aurora looks! Beautiful combo, does it look even better in person?

So interesting that your favourite experiences in March were with two relatively low priced pens! I don’t have any really expensive pens , but I have both the Twsbi and the Kaweco. My two favourites at the moment are a Jinhao and a Tibaldi…such a contrast in price but both write beautifully

It's definitely a highlight of the month - the perfect pen and ink pairing can be found at every price range!

Troublemaker Abalone is incredibly dry. The next time I use it, I think I'll add some VanNess Pens' White Lightning, a wetting agent.

Just goes to show that you don't need to have expensive pens to have amazing pen experiences. You just need to find inks that work great in the pairing to excite you. To me it also seems as if you put some of the more questionable inks in pens that are usually very reliable pens but that didn't't pan out as well as you had hoped because the inks were still underwhelming. In regards to the green Writer's Blood, is there an Iroshizuku ink in green?

Yes! I love your analysis, it’s all spot-on! You’ve got me thinking of Pilot Iroshizuku Shin-ryoku. I’d love to try that one in the Aurora. Thank you!

Off topic - are you fluent in different languages? My goodness, your pronounciation sounds so good !
@lifeinspiresdesign5 ай бұрын
Thank you so much! I'm only fluent in English. I learned a bit of French and Spanish in school, and I absolutely *love* hearing different languages and accents. Google Translate is my friend for many of these ink and pen names, but one of my someday goals is to become a polyglot.

Is the Esterbrook Esti Lilac an old pen? I can’t find it anywhere. Thanks for sharing your pens!

The Estie Lilac is a re-release. I bought it directly from esterbrookpens.com. They may have sold out of this color by now.
