An extra turn on her shield seems awesome. I don't know, seems pretty important to me. Either it generates a skill point every 3 turns, which is good in SP hungry teams, or you can use that SP to keep an extra ally permanently shielded. Yea, on the vacuum it might seem like the least impactful of the 3 talents (because the other two talents are OP), but levelling this talent is cheap for what it does.

another little thing, im not 100% sure of how the mechanics of breaking and status work but from playing it seems like if an enemy is broken or affected by a status like imprison from welt then when that enemy gets its next turn it will recover from the status/break AND then take its attack, but if an enemy is frozen then when it gets its turn it will recover from frozen but it will consume its turn to do so. like i said ive not done any actual testing with this to prove my theory wrong/right but if im right then thats another pro for march 7th edit: looked it up and the Freeze break effect additially delays the enemys next move by another 50% when it recovers from freeze, so thats why it seemed like it sometimes consumed the turn when actually its just delaying the turn a second time

I adore March + Clara, I also rolled Gepard´s lightcone early so I gave it to her for now for stats, but hopefully I ll roll her signature lightcone one day and at that stage I ll forward Gepard´s lightcone to MC. For now tho I dont feel like the lightcone messes me up too much, the shield seemingly taunts the enemies far more than the lightcone (so I usually only feel the issue when the enemy attacks before March has her turn to apply the shield)..tho sometimes for no reason my Dan Hang gets attacked ...its a gatcha with these taunting mechanics XD

Dude, so glad that your vids are popping off. You deserve it. An idea for a video could be prioritization and bottle necks in early game and how to make the most of what we have. Especially with Forgotten Hall and Simulated Universe in mind. Or perhaps dedicates vids for these 2 game systems

since whoever has March's shield is more likely to be attacked, shouldnt your most shielded character be on an edge slot in your team so you take less cleave damage?

Has anyone tried making her an offensive support with Fire MC? like max out her attack and crit and shield Fire MC minimally so she can dish out strong counter attacks, easy energy gains and spammable ults?

I've been playing Geparch 7th for the last few weeks, since i pulled a random Moment of Victory, and it works surprisingly well. You spam your ult, you are so tanky you can afford to use basic attacks to not go completely negative on SP and, assuming the enemy doesn't oneshot one of your teammates, she can shield someone in a pinch if they get nuked.

I find March's freezeing in Clara's team as a drawback. As we now Clara needs to be attacked to deal damage but frozen enemies can't attack. So if there is any turn limits you should put 2nd damage dealer in that team otherwise you can put battle on auto and go touch some grass.

Moment of victory and landaus choice can work pretty well if done right. Bascilly If you position march to the edge of the team and then put whatever character you want to increase the ult skill of next to her. Then at start of battle you put shield on march. This is a double whammy for taunting enemies to attack her specifically so much better shot at getting hits off on her. Becuase march is built to have so much defence it also means it takes the enemy a lot longer to break her shield vs if you put her shield on another character. This means by the time her turn comes around again she has a decent chance of still having enough shield to not have to worry about reapplying it to herself. So at this point you could throw a second shield on the character next to march. With this setup march still has the highest chance of being targeted due to her cone. But if by chance she isn't targeted then the second shielded character is almost guaranteed to be the target. This setup theoretically should keep the person to the far opposite edge of march very safe, while allowing march and the person next to her absorb all hits safely and fill their ult bars faster. Also very important note, (I could be wrong) but I was testing out def values and it seemed to me like the percent def upgrades the codes provide are either completely ignored or partially ignored when calculating how much shield march generates. For example I originally was using the Amber cone at superimposition 5 which gives +32% def and another +32% def if below 50% hp. However, in my testing that extra 32% def when below 50% hp was definitely not taken into consideration when calculating how much shield march generates. She generates the same amount regardless of if she is below 50% hp or not. However, I don't remember for sure if the original base 32% def was also ignored or not. I want to say it was ignored too but would need to test again. If true his means cones that give a % def increase may have little or no effect on amount of shield generated beyond what it's base def stats are. And if that's true then march has more flexibility with cone choice then you might originally assume. Also, there definitely is reason to not use march ult right away. If enemy is already frozen then you want to let them unfreeze first so that you can refreeze them after. Also if enemy is expected to do some big attack in the next turn then waiting so that you can use ult to freeze and interrupt that attack can be worth it.

Don't underestimate 3* Light Cone, Amber if you want to use her at what's best: giving shields on demand and helps a lot for Path of Preservation ultimate in Simulated Universe.

Has anyone tried a full damage march with Fire Trailblazer? I imagine 3 attacks per turn would build up a good amount of energy to spam her ult Firing off 3 autos per turn with high damage + crit seems like it'd add up pretty fast. And then constantly applying freeze with her ult. Her shields would suck, but then you have trailblazer for that.

March is my main character so I wanted to build my teams around her but I got yanqing and gepard so I don't have much elemental coverage :') will likely ditch those 5* before ditching march though xD (already ditched gepard).

Lot of bailu guides hint that I should put march 7 shield on bailu. Why her and not my main damage dealer or someone else?

Sorry I haven't watched those guides I'm not sure why they are saying that specifcally. The result of putting the shield on bailu would be to have her hit more often and as a result generate more energy maybe that's why?
