I moved to the Bay area in 2012, because i had a bigger dream of connecting with people and places more aligned with me, in true sagittarius rising fashion, I made this move impulsively. Astrology is nothing like a religion, because the hallmark of religion is dagma, and rules that govern behavior in respect to a Devine intity. Buddhism isn't a religion either, it is a philosophy. Astrology is an experiential tool. I 100% would have thought it was B.S. if the descriptions i read about virgo were not so accurate that it scared me. Those who are turned off by astrology usually lack self awareness so they don’t know enough about themselves to actually recieve the astrological interpretations of their sign, or of the info given to them. There are others that dont like the idea of fated info, of their being a created aspect of our being. They don’t want to entertain the possibility that certain things aren't possible for them, they don’t want evidence of a higher influence over their life. At the end of the day, some people aren’t meant to recieve any benefit from astrology. I'd suggest not trying to prove astrologies validity to people that aren’t self aware. You will be wasting your time. Astrology is a tool for those meant to find it. And it is meant to be rejected by those whose journey require them not to find it.

I did, indeed, simply walk away from the conversation because it was very clear there was no opening. The ego part of me, that felt insulted and rejected, wanted to fight (or bring Brett in to fight! 🤣) but the bigger part of me said it wasn't worth it :) I walked away from the woman, looked up over my head, and Jupiter was smiling down on me - sparkling and glorious in the night sky... As a heavy cannabis user I appreciate the invitation to see if I can look at this plant medicine as training wheels and consider practicing other methods of opening up/unhinging/freeing my thoughts and dropping in to the higher frequencies. I have been sober for 8 months after 20 years of use. My last 3 years though, I was on a 16 day ‘dose’ cycle. My main tools are breathwork, nature, cold swims (I live in northern Ontario), cold showers, and Qigong. Good luck and power in your journey bro!

Great overview and insights into helping people use this energy 🙏🏻 I had a thought/question that keeps resonating in regards to shadow work. About a month ago Gabriella from the weekly transit podcast (great show if your not familiar with it) mentioned not all shadow is bad stuff, there is good things in shadow work to discover. Gems 💎 so to say. I’m exploring this idea, would love to hear anyone’s opinion or thoughts 🤔

I 100% agree! To me shadow work is where so much of the light lives. Going into the shadow is where we find our light. It’s the growth and the ultimate alchemical transformation.

I absolutely agree with Gabriella! I actually find that the darker parts are just covering up the gems. I often equate "shadow work" to a buried treasure hunt... the gems are there, just buried by untruth that we've accumulated through time. I love that you're "exploring this idea" - this alone will be fruitful! :)
