There is speculation about where Farmer Boy falls in the Little House series as it follows Almanzo and not Laura. It is typically placed in the third spot so that could be the reason for the confusion.

So my follow along TBR from February did not do well. I blame Hogwarts Legacy!! Anywho, my choices were Final Offer by Lauren Asher (400 pages), Maame by Jessica George (BOTM), same poll pick, The Spanish Love Deception by Elena Armas (Library pick), and Twisted Games by Ana Huang (Person on cover, since I choose the sexy cover). I DNfd Spanish Love Deception and Maame. I'm almost done with the audio of the poll pick and I have started Twisted Games. This month, March, is going to crazy and I'm not doing the added middle grade challenge!!! Good luck!!!

I've never heard of "middle grade" as a type of book designation. This isn't the same as YA? What is it about this designation that would make these books appeal to an adult reader? Thanks for your input.
@BekahBooksandBujo Жыл бұрын
It is different than YA actually. Middle grade is specifically for ages 8-12, I believe. I often find that MG books have great themes not only for younger readers, but adults too. I enjoy them but I know for some they are considered juvenile.
