What a wonderful atmosphere this conveys, one of quiet friendly confidence. Nothing to fear, everything to hope for. Compare this with London politics ... well don't even bother for really and truly there IS NO comparison. Time for Scotland to be reborn as its own independent European nation. I just hope we don't get into the same rut as in 2014 where every single Yes event is another march in Glasgow. Glasgow already voted Yes. We need to bring the energy and message to other cities now. And marches are not accessible events. Not everyone is able to walk across the whole city. Broaden the events and make more of them inclusive instead of just for the able-bodied of Glasgow.

We must have just been behind the video person .. fantastic wee snimits that we all saw on the way forward for Scotland, with the rest of the tens of thousands walking in solidarity for a much better future for our elderly, our young and the most vulnerable in our society. We are much better placed as a Nation thinking Internationally as a welcoming Country with a world recognition for Tolerance and Amazing sense of humour ! Just Be Your Highest Good .. When you make other people happy ... It will come back on you ten fold. To all my unionist family .. The status quo is not a bad thing, but sometimes a full reformat of the file system is a good cleansing of the hard drive .. type something new :) X iT CAN START FROM HERE .. INDEPENDENCE.

While the SNP leadership want to take power from Westminster and immediately hand it to Brussels the Scottish people won’t vote for Independence. The only thing that surprises me is that Nicola can’t see that.

Sean mcleese It was a nation wide vote and embarrassingly Scotland voted to remain along with Londanistan. That just tells me that Scotland wants to be anything but English, Or that Scotland hasn't suffered as much as England. I don't hold much faith in any party and I really do think there's something going on behind the scene's that we don't know about.

We're not radically different from the English, we share a culture and a language-and even a history. We've developed our country from an impoverished mess as it was in 1707 to what it is now, let us not reverse this decision on account of a blind sense of nationalism. People who haven't met an Englishman yet have no quarrel with screeching "BLOODY ENGLISH" like Bannockburn is still occurring, don't seem to understand how heavily we rely on the Union and vise versa. Many seem to justify this desire to break from the union by stating "we could stay afloat." But why? Yes maybe you could stay afloat but you'd drop many of the subsidies we receive from England, and then what join the EU? Just as it is scheduled for collapse? Italy considering leaving, the German elections will kick Merkel to fuck; countries de-valuing the currency as they go through economic crises such as Greece. All just to have laws imposed upon you by unelected bureacrats, It's pointless. Where the union goes we go, as ever. I love my nation, I'd rather not see it crumble because we left the union as a result of the movie Braveheart. I find it funny that the flag of the Scottish monarchy is flown here, these people evidently need a lesson in history; we married into the British throne. The Scottish monarchy is the British monarchy.

Unfortunately for this party, their moment has passed. The First Minister has been on the wrong side of the last two referendums: The 2014 referendum, and the Brexit referendum. That must be painful for her, but she'll just have to respect the will of the people.

The previous result was close and Project Fear and the threat of being thrown out of the EU no doubt swung it. That is Scottish Indy and EU membership were presented as opposites to choose between. It hardly need to be said that Scotland voted roughly 2:1 for Remain, so with Brexit approaching it's now a choice between Indy and Leave, i.e. the entire political landscape has been turned upside down. Which bit of this don't you get D.H.??
