Anti-lockdown protesters march on streets of Glasgow

Anti-lockdown protesters took to the streets of Glasgow on Saturday (8 January) to demonstrate against vaccine passports.
Crowds gathered in Scotland's largest city for an "unplanned" march, with many carrying signs and banners with messages against restrictions.
"Freedom over fear", "stand up, take your freedom back" and "my body, my choice" slogans were amongst those visible.
In order to attend some events in Scotland, people are required to either show a negative lateral flow test or confirm they have been vaccinated using the passport.

My life has been a battle ground from growing up in foster care to now struggling to pay rent every month it’s stressful. I lost my career over not getting the vaccine so now I’m waitressing. I declined because of my pre existing health conditions lupus and heart disease. I’m thankful for scraping by every month. Both of my sons are autistic. I just feel the weight of the world coming down on me. I’m just feeling beat down. Please pray for me and my children. I do have faith God will guide me through this hard time. Keep fighting
