Good luck with teaching! I've substituted for years and am now a 50% literacy teacher and I love it. I taught Grade 1 last year. Teaching is a wonderful career for a family. I'm curious on how substituting works where you are. here we use a computer system that sends out jobs and you either accept it or not. You can work at various schools and various grade levels. My substitute bag was a life saver for me while subbing. Some days I would go into a position and there would be no plan. Having that "bag of tricks" was a lifesaver! Best of luck Meaghan :)

Thank you so much! I’ll be working in grades pre k - 4th. Here they use a call system to hire per day. Similar to the computer system in your area. I’m so excited to work with children again and the flexibility this position allows can be beat! I’d love to know what you put in your sub bag!
