I forgot all about making these!! I love the idea that it's not overwhelming to fill up 100+ pages. I can handle 6 🙂 I will bring the supplies with me to my father's house. Gotta travel to take care of Dad. It's hard when our parents get older. Thanks for reminding me about this Helen! Stay well ❤️

I absolutely love these little zines and yours are super cute! I had to smile when you said Barney hunts for patches of sunshine! My two Jack Russells do the same and contort themselves to fit patches of sun around the house! Now there is an idea for a zine page! Take care Helen x

I have already bought the new book on Cult Pens website, on an advance order. I can't wait to get it. I love your videos. I find them so relaxing to watch. It has inspired me to start a journal rather than have a shop bought diary. I am not good at drawing, but am quite a creative person, I don't think a lack of artistic talent should hold you back, I am getting more adventurous with materials. I have started to save scraps of paper to use ... I so agree that with the brighter days and the coming of Spring things seem so much more positive.

You may have talked about this, but where did you get the little zine? Did you make it? I volunteer at a shelter for teens and I'm leading a journaling time with them in August.

I make the zines myself. I have included the full tutorial on the first zine video I did in January called “Make a Mini Journal Zine”. Someone shared with me that they just did this with a scout group over zoom which is so lovely. The tutorial is also on my blog. I hope that helps 🤗💕

Binding idea. Once you have finished the Mini Journal Zine how about using a sharp type bradawl making tiny holes and then sewing the middle spin with cobblers twin. I have used this thick type cotton for several projects in the past. You will need to use a thimble to protect your fingers ...
