Zion is a 0.000001% freak athlete we have maybe never seen his combination of power speed quickness ball handling finishing layup package defense all in one player. He can get away with so much cause he’s so gifted. He tries just not really hard but if he ever locks in it’s over for the NBA there isn’t anyone that can match him. Dj burns has no wiggle room if he wants a shot in the NBA so he had to drop his calories and train 5 days a week he doesn’t have the athleticism to skate by.
@seed.planted3 ай бұрын
@@ceeb107Zion doesn’t have wiggle room. It’s just his team feels trapped because they’d lose their first pick for nothing if they didn’t sign him an extension. They just went through that with AD. We don’t see what’s happening behind closed doors but my guess is his work ethic is much improved. Burns simply has to be hungry from jump

They aren’t scouting him because of him being a basketball player. They scout him because of his size. They’d put him in the OL to block. OL men who have quick feet and agility are a good asset. So it’s not the same as saying because he’s a basketball player being scouted by the NFL then NBA players can play the NFL.
@maa73323 ай бұрын
The NFL is scouting him because of his size and his ability on the basketball court. He may not get drafted into the NBA. Conversely, the NBA is not scouting NCAA linemen (Hope my English is understandable).🤷🏾♂️
@bradd24003 ай бұрын
Of course. There's been multiple basketball players that not only made the nfl but balled out in the nfl. Basketball players tend to make a walking mismatch at the tight end position i.e Antonio Gates, Jimmy Graham, etc etc. I don't think a football player that never played basketball has ever made the nba. Charlie Ward made the nba but he was a dual sport athelte at FSU, playing both football and basketball. He won the heisman in football tho so many consider him a better football player than basketball at FSU but he still made the NBA instead. And I'm more of an nfl fan than nba I think even tho I follow both, so no favoritism/biased pov coming from over here.
