People that cover obscure Queen stuff with an actual red special are the best

I like how famous owners of Red specials on KZbin started revisiting old Queen's stuff. Really cool.

You absolutely nailed this one! Excellent job! 😁👍👍. Also, I notice from the gold strings on your Red Special that you’re also using the Maxima Golds, which is the same that Brian uses. Very nice touch and attention to detail.

As awesome as you are at playing Brian’s songs, i thought you’d enjoy this video of this young guy playing “Cannon Rock” on his Burns Red Special. It starts out slow and boring but at 00:49 on the counter is where the rocking out 🎸 starts. When this came out 15yrs ago, even Brian himself posted a comment saying how he was blown away by this guy. Enjoy! kzbin.info/www/bejne/ravIc4OKZ996gNU

This was outstanding Frank, Thank you. I really enjoyed it and will be playing it to my guitar teacher today. One of my favourite Queen songs, probably because it feels like a continuous run of linked solos along with the heaviness. The lyrics are interesting too. I like Great King Rat, Ogre Battle, Son and Daughter and Liar too for the same reason, please can you do a play along with these Frank? Do you ever transcribe.what you play? I would be interested in that even if it was through something like Patreon. If not Patreon do you do 1-1 lessons? Taking the tab with multiple guitar parts and coming up with something incredible to play the whole way through was great, well done. Did you follow a live performance or adapt from the original recording? If you can get it take a look at the Queen concert at The Odeon, it is much better than the Rainbow one. The solo that would later become Brighton Rock is great on there.

Hi thanks for your words! I will do soon son and daughter... Have u checked my tutorial playlist? Thera are many transcriptions and many more to come. No patreon but ok for 1-1 lesson! thanks again!
@ianbuxton5253 жыл бұрын
@@FrankCampese Thanks Frank. I will be in touch for a lesson when I have some time. I have tried Songster for some tabs but the many parts make it complex to follow. I really enjoyed how you made this song playable for one guitar. Will there be a transcription for this video?

That was so frocking cool! I have always loved that album and song! May be the coolest tutorial I’ve ever seen anywhere. May I ask who built your guitar? Any problem replacing rollers on bridge , what is the radius of your fingerboard and does the bridge match it and lastly what is your rig set up. I have a number of Brian May guitars including the very first Super sold to the public # 11 , and I don’t get that tone. I even build my own red specials. Seriously remarkable!!!! Thank you for your time I hope to hear from you
@ianbuxton5253 жыл бұрын
Try backing off the volume on your guitar to 4 or 5. I used to hate the sound I got out of my Vox BM1 (Deacy) but when I whacked it on max gain and the Brian May star setting and backed off the guitar volume it sounds great. Also your tone needs to be on Max or removed from the circuit like Brian's. The pot was replaced with a bolt I think.

Hey, where did you get the backing track? If you made it yourself would you upload it to your KZbin channel? That would be nice because there aren't any good ones on KZbin.Besides, you played it very well.Thank you.
