"Родная Москва" Usually in the USSR, a soldier would be stationed as far away from home as possible, therefore the defenders of Moscow were most likely Central Asians and people from the Far East. "Rodnaya Moskva", however, indicates that they were from the city.

But why?
@Based-wn9jg
@Based-wn9jg 4 жыл бұрын
@@theorangeofallahpbuh1840 Two reasons. 1: Ideological; the more the different nationalities of the USSR get to know each other, the more united they are. 2: Practical; a soldier cannot simply desert and go home if his home is on the other end of the country.

Yes you are right, but that was case during peacetime, in case of a war, everyone would be drafted and deployed wherever it was needed, so yes many people defending Moscow were from Moscow, but most of them would be from all around Soviet Union

I think communist had most of the time upper hand in the economical growth, and human growth. For example, here in Yugoslavia, 90% of people were illiterate during capitalism, and when communists too it over, all the infrastructure was built, highway system, cities, millions of appartments, factories, hidro electric plants etc. We made progres in 30 years for which West needed 200 years, and then it all stopped, people wanted change, and they had the right to demand, had dreams to become rich.

@Audio Sugar well we could go on and on with this transplantation, we could say West robbed colonies, or made money through slave business, or enriched, got resources through genocides against natives of Americas, Australia, Asia etc. Or what West took from East ? From China, Arabic countries, mathematics, paper, etc many other important achievments. It is pointless going on and on. Communism would never happen if people in Russia, China, Yugoslavia lived good life, people were fed up by the inefficient capitalism, and they wanted change......
@justiceiscomingsoon
@justiceiscomingsoon 4 жыл бұрын
@Audio Sugar the problem of Russia and Yugoslavia and East Europe is most (not all) of those countries historically were poore compared to west, in a long period of time, we can find many theories why it happened, it is just the way it is, many people have been happy during the 1945/1990 rule. As for me, I can not complain I am the Founder and Owner of 2 small but profitable companies.

I don't have any reason to lie, I am a capitalist myself, self made, american dream worked well for me in here, but most of the people will never have living standards they had in the 1980es.

get shot at the border? in DDR, but in Yugoslavia anyone who wanted to leave, was able to leave and work in Germany, Switzerland etc, but just a few percentage left, it means most of the people were happy with their life. Every year was built 10.000 apartments just in Belgrade, and delivered to employed. In Serbia 200.000 new cars were bought every year, in USA ration would be 300.000 (on the same population size). And today? I can buy every year new apartment and pay in cache.

The Soviet Union broke down because of the Opportunists in the Party after Stalin. They looted the Soviet Union and made several reforms to bring back Capitalism which killed the USSR. The August Coup and the 1993 Constitutional Crisis were the only times the Union would've been preserved.
@GeneralissimusStalin17
@GeneralissimusStalin17 5 жыл бұрын
In fact, 76% of the USSR voted to keep the Union on a referendum on it's existence. Yeltsin and Gorbachev dissolved it anyway against the wishes of the People.

you didn't read carefully. I said that during first 30 years the economy was booming, most of the people got education in communism, while in capitalism people didn't had basic needs fulfilled, no schools, no roads, no cities, just villages, they lived like Europe in 19th century, during 30 years, communist nations build entire infrastructure, schools, people got education etc. And at last people wanted change, don't forget they wanted american dreams.

everywhere the living standards within the communist system were a catastrophy, east germany, russia, czech republic. it was just terrible everywhere. people took the risk to get shot at their borders because life in communism was a social desaster. their economies were totally broken down at the end of the 80s. but you want to tell me that communist jugoslavia was a paradise? ridiculous. what makes the living standards in your country so low is that you still suffer from your old economies

@@GeneralissimusStalin17 Of course a lot of people from the former eastern bloc doesn't want USSR back ! Only some russians and byelorussians want USSR back because they dominated. Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania joined Europe right after USSR's collapse, because they absolutely didn't want to be part of it again ! Ukraine fears Russia but if it wanted USSR back, then why did the conflict with Russia about Crimea happen ? East germans destroyed the wall separating them from the West for the same reasons : only a few communists, and nostalgic russians want that.

yes if you were a person like Luburic who sloughtered children in concentration camp of Jasenovac, you would be killed even in Spain, or if you stole your company and hid into Germany, they would find you. My oncle went to Paris in 1965, my Dad had well paid job, we didn't wanted to go anywhere, because we lived beter than they did, and today I live beter, because today it's not the most important where you live, but how capable you are.
