На счёт того что словацкие партизаны вели войну с рейхом это не совсем правда, после оккупации третьей империей(Nemcko) Чехия Словакия, новое марионеточное правительство словацкой республики полнойстью поддерживала Гитлера и все его действия, партизаны начала активно действовать только когда Венгрия потребовала у Германии включить Словацкую республику в ее состав, ну там уже был 1943-1944 год, на подходе были советские войска, и это сыграло ключевую роль в партизанских действиях словаков, так как малочисленное население словакии не давало устраивать полномасштабная диверсии

Big respect from France. We still have the Normandie-Niemen fighter squadron that fought with you in world war two. They were the only western forces to fight on the eastern front with the red army. At the end of the war, Staline himself ordered that the french pilots should come back to France with their YAK-3 planes. The story of this fighter group in the war is a very nice one about friendship between russians ground crews and french pilots. One anecdote: one day a french pilot went with his russian mechanic on a test flight. Something went wrong and the pilot was ordered to bail out, but his russian friend could not, he had no parachute. The pilot refused to jump, and prefered to crash with his friend. They both died, but this story is incredible.

One of the worst moments of the Great Patriotic War was the Leningrad blockade, which lasted 880 days. The number of its victims exceeds the losses of the United States and Great Britain combined during the entire Second World War - from 800 thousand to 1.5 million people. There was also Stalingrad, which held out for 200 days and nights - from July 17, 1942 to February 2, 1943. The losses on both sides amounted to 2 million people. Sevastopol defended for 250 days. Not a single settlement was surrendered without a fight on the Eastern Front. 13 of them received the title of Hero Cities. During the entire Second World War, the German armed forces lost 70% of the personnel on the Soviet front. Destroyed more than 80% of the equipment of Germany and its allies. This feat they will never forget it. Honor, pride, respect have forever been imprinted in the memory of these people and their heirs every year celebrating this greatest military event. Shame and disgrace to all those who think that the war was won by the Americans. After all, it was the Soviet flag that flew over Berlin in May 1945.
