54 years old and I still get this tingling feeling in my chest and lump in my throat whenever I watch the soldiers march along the battle cry music of the trumpets and drums towards the town square and rescue everyone. My inner child overjoyed with excitement I guess. A classic tale for all to see.

I first saw this in b&w and like that look better but this sure does bring me back to early elementary during the holidays. Miracle on 34th Street was special since I grew up in Harlem and routinely went to Macy's, Gimbles Korvettes dept stores with my Mom. A Holiday Tradition.

As a senior citizen who grew up with this movie I’m so glad to see that they still have it available. It just wasn’t Thanksgiving without seeing this movie and you knew that it was the kick off for the Christmas season! It’s just a shame that they cut out so many parts especially all of the songs that were sung throughout the movie! Regardless, it’s a gem that should be watched by children today and hopefully years to come! 🦃🎄.

I read someplace that, during the production of this movie, the film's producers contacted Walt Disney to ask permission to use the 3 Little Pigs in the film. Not only did Disney immediately grant permission, but he even sent over one of his own artists (at his own expense!) to act as technical advisor.

Notice that Mickey Mouse is in the movie too...looks like it's a monkey in a costume.

3 Little Pigs is a Fairy Tale way before Disney was born in the mid 1800's. Google it for more facts.
@MrPGC137 Жыл бұрын
@@electricsmoke I'm aware of that, Dickhead; I'm speaking of the specific interpretations that were rendered on-screen. AND the fact that the Disney cartoon was highly-popular at the time that this movie was in-production. AND the fact that the Roach Studio based their interpretation upon the Disney cartoon, all of which facts were backed up by several accounts from employees of both studios. For you see, Dickhead, unlike you, I don't need to "Google" anything for so-called "facts." I happen to have what is known as a "mind" and I'm capable of doing my own research. (Hate to break the news to ya Cupcake, but verifiable facts existed long before Google. I know it was dark when you were born, but was it last night?) At least now we know where you got your "name."
