I also remember this storm very well. I was eight years and thank God we lived on the 2nd floor. I would go out on the porch and lo and behold I saw row boats going down the flooded streets. That vision is firmly implanted in my mind as if it were yesterday. Another memory was the storm of 1984. I was living on the bay in A.C. I woke up to a flooded apartment. I lost everything. Wow! The memories of Atlantic City. But I loved growing up there.

I remember this flood very well. I was 8 years old, and always used to wake up late for school, but this one particular day I woke up early and went to the front paly room and looked outside and there was a flood. it was a day after my younger brother's birthday. My late mother went outside and took movies. I have to see how to get them converted to post on KZbin like you did. Yours are way cooler though. Good job!!!

I was 17 and had lived in Brigantine since birth and our house at 2605 bayshore ave got about 6 inches of water in it. My new 1962 ford falcon also got water inside it and my Dad (Charles W Gale insurance) was able to get it totaled and I was able to buy a new Pontiac tempest convertible which is what I wanted in the first place. It was one heck of a storm (and I had been through the 1938 and 1944 hurricanes) ……Bill Gale (living in Florida since July of 1962) with my wife of 63 years …. Myra Rotellini (miss brigantine 1958 or 1957 not sure which one) Brigantine was a wonderful place to be young in especially in those “good old days”

I was 9 years old and our house was flooded. But my father remodeled the inside of our home by himself. I miss my parents so much.😔😔😔

If that were to happen today it would cause far more than ten times the damage because of building density and it would be blamed on global warming

Was working in AC and the Brigantine Bridge was out. I had to sleep with my best friends girl friend. Took lots of photos of the damage and sold a book of 20 4x5 photos for $5.00. I think I sold three. Wish I still had one.

Wasn't it called the Ash Wednesday storm?

Everyone on Absecon Island called it the March Storm as I recall.

Hackney's: where the big shots did their shots and beers. All Inlet film. Around 1:55 begins Downbeach - Margate most likely. At 2:18 is Margate Pier, under which I first got laid. Kudos to the filmmaker.
