Great video Donny, I happen to really like the music in this one it was very in fitting to what I watched. Locals told me it had to be the worst summer in 20 years. I thought it had a great Indian summer. Loved the air blowing up the high tides from the ground this year was the first I not only saw it but heard it hissing up. My first thought it was a gas leak with the sound especially with opening up the gates with Loch Awe flooding. Thanks for sharing and thanks for the time you gave me at Kelly's peer well worth the lift of your trailer on to your tow bar lol. Ray K UK YNWA.

I enjoyed streaming that on the TV, it made for a relaxing Sunday night whilst having a beer, especially between 6&7 minutes - very hypnotic facing the setting sun with the aligned wind direction pushing the clouds towards me......great piece of wood you collected and transformed in to furniture. Get yourself a Lathe and for the wet and windy months it could be 'Wilcox' Winter Wood Turning Wonders' 🤔😉

Thanks Libertas..Im carving parts of the driftwood at present and will update in next video. I do have a small lathe but its for metal work..and only small parts. I wood lathe would be nice but I have other things I want first :-D

Well that was pretty different Donny. Enjoyed the music and the video shots. Know what you mean about the driftwood. I found something similar some years ago, and it’s now a ‘magic wishing stick’ at my daughters house. Hope you get some great days in the promised land before the midges start to swarm. Lovely clear days with snow on the tops until May, that would be good.

Im hoping the weather improves Robert..managed my first camp up the loch but it was a cold wet run home the next day. I still have a piece of driftwood art my father made when I was a kid ..so it can run in families too 😀

Nice 1 Donny....i was down the shore at the old fort in ft.william tother day....i noticed masses of drift wood there too....all shapes n sizes....not only good burning but useful for all sorts of projects...unique pieces if you have the eye for it..yours turned out well nice...i thought

Fantastic time lapse Donny, what a beautiful place Loch Etive is. Have a look at Osmo wood finishes. They do one called 3044 RAW which is a matt finish which will seal it but leave it's original colour and appearance. Week after next looks promising !

We really enjoyed that video as we sit in our small Motorhome on Loch Tay. That is a lovely piece of wood and will look lovely. We were going to try Taynault and Etive in the next couple of days in the Honwave but the Weather does not look like it will play ball. We might just have a night in Taynault if only for a wander and to see Ian at the shop. Are we allowed to share a little of the promised land for a short while

Donny, what did you do as a job? Not everyone can edit footage together like you do, and you appear to be musical too, and that makes me wonder if you worked in that field. I would love to hear your story... maybe a video someday.

I was a very boring contractor installing communication cables Fastasfox ..but as I was manager and responsible for work of others..I found it stressfull..so retired early. I have taken photos all my life..self taught .. as with video..and making things from wood..metal etc .. Played part time in local pub band for 10 years too.. self taught of course ... perhaps a video one day ? I had an interesting life working in Africa and Europe at times ..so no complains. Keep away from women as had my heart..and house stolen by them in the past ..but have two lovely daughters ..thats about it I guess :-D

I have the Seyvlor one brian..its never let me down and its around 5 years of good use ..I would by another if anything happened to it as its mid range on price. Cant comment on any other brand though as I have only had the one :-D
