Rare to see Marchand so tired at the end of a race. He was gassed. But he's probably in heavy training.

It’s metrics, not yards, way more distance to go before each turn.

Marchand does not yet have the same times as Milak, but the improvements in the 4 specialties are impressive, it will not be long before he breaks the record in the 200 medley, as Bowman said he has a lot of room for improvement that Marchant is not yet aware of.

marchand gotta work on not breathing on the first stroke from the dive and from the turns

if he was anywhere near Milak's level, what time should he be going at this time of the season?
@Josh-su9rg7 ай бұрын
Milak went pretty much the exact same time a few days ago. bit hard to compare to milak’s prime as everyone is different during in-season

@@Josh-su9rg Agreed. Plus Milak didn't really train or compete for an entire year. He did rake in 5 golds and a silver at the Hungarian Nationals that just ended. He'll probably compete in the same 6 events in the upcoming European championships. We'll know more of his stamina then. None seems to be at his level though...

Marchand uses year round training in the US with US coaches and US teammates. Then goes to the Olympics and wins 4 gold medals for France while his US training teammates were lucky to even qualify for the Olympic finals.
