ASU has my favorite drum-line & the best drum majors and it’s not even close! They compliment each other well. The Stingettes’ uni shut sh!t down. The HoneyBees are all so beautiful. 🔥🔥

The drum majors are clean and this new uniform is FIRE but they can’t hold a candle to J5, in my opinion. The band overall just has a vibe though that is untouchable! I agree with you about the full package and how they complement each other so well with each section ❤

@@davidwalker7444 they blow J5 out the water to me, I don’t like the dancing/prancing the drum majors in Mississippi bands tend to do I can’t take them seriously. This precision/military style with a touch of swagg is more impressive and has way more presence imo. This style compliments MMH’s band and others like BCU, Southern, and FAMU _much_ better.

@ idk when you consider the music making machine that’s marching behind them, idk! They look and feel like the Kappas of the drum major world lol it’s real smooth…I will give them that! All the schools you listed actually. Back in the day, you couldn’t tell me any squad was better than FAMU! I guess I just prefer the high stepping, the crowd engagement…like seeing the kids on the side imitating them is always so cool to me. The kids be intimidated by ASU lol it’s not a bad thing at all though. I see your point though.

@@davidwalker7444 J5 is still nice, don’t get me wrong and at least they direct the band in the stands instead of dance through the battle like Valley, Miles, Alcorn, etc. That just ain’t my preference. Ngl when I initially discovered J5 I was hyped too like “Damn! They’re getting it!” I can def say it was the high knees for me as well but after like 5-6 years maybe I got bored with the song and routines. They should do a new routine every season or a fresh J5 song for to march-in to. When I hear “Get Ready” now I’m turned off, just tired of hearing it ig.

To me Janae was the best however I try to appreciate each new Captain as individuals and thus far I have not been disappointed since Janae left because each have their own Mojo. Brianni, Brianna, Lea, Zy and Princess have all be spectacular each in her own right. I will love the Sensational Stingettes forever no matter who is Captain.

No other HBCU band march in comes even close to touching Alabama State University Hornet marching band #MMH. The Drum Majors, the Percussion cadence, the Stingettes, the Honey Bees, and the Flags. They’re the total package for me. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
