I got one question, where can I buy black hardware cause I have a silver black sparkle wrap and I think it would be really cool to get black tension rods, lugs, rims and so on. Thanks!

I'm not sure where you might find specific colored parts like that. Might look at a few custom drum companies on like, they would probably be the only ones that could hook you up with special colored parts like that! Sorry I don't have an exact answer but that's the best thing I can think of for stuff like that!

I’m picking up a used Pearl silver badge I found on marketplace for $50. Not sure what all I’ll have to replace. I’m curious what you used to clean the hoops.

I just used an aluminum polish nothing fancy! I'm sure any aluminum polish will give you the same results.

I wish Blue Devils went back to using Pearls. I don't like the System Blues.

They might. I’ve been hearing that the company that manufactured System Blue drums and horns went out of business. Idk what that means for Blue Devils but maybe we will see a switch back to their roots

How did you remove the rods from the drum
@midwestmodelrailroadworkshop2 жыл бұрын
Once the top tension ring is off the lower ring drops off from the case then you can just take a wrench and unbolt each rod from the ring really easily.

i want to buy a snare drum on ebay how can i get a new bottom metal thing wirh screws?
@midwestmodelrailroadworkshop2 жыл бұрын
I got alot of my spare parts form Ebay as well. Might have to play the waiting game a little bit but eventually some really good stuff pops up. Or you could try your luck with some different music stores online that might have parts for sale. Just comb the internet and I'm sure you will find what you are looking for!

@@midwestmodelrailroadworkshop like what stores? i want to make a marching snare drum pad or Restore a Marching snare drum. i am a middle schooler if that means anything
@midwestmodelrailroadworkshop2 жыл бұрын
@@jack-sm7jy Drum Center or Portsmouth might be of help, you can check them pit online or even reach out to local music stores and see if they could help you in any way. Or like I said just play the waiting dame on Ebay. There are probably other options as well that I may not know of so definitely do the foot work and just see what's out there either near you or online and I'm certain you will find something that works good for you!

@@midwestmodelrailroadworkshop I found a snare drum that’s 99 cents with 50$ shipping it seems good but there’s No heads and the bottom medal part is missing and there’s no screws for it.

@@jack-sm7jy Most important thing I can say is be patient. Took me quite a while to find some of this stuff. I did buy some cheap junkers when I started and basically took parts from a few drums to build one good drum so that's always an option as well.
