If you put tape on your snares is it bad to leave the snare switch permanently in the on position?

Kadin McDonald it reduces a possible buzz that can be heard sometimes after the attack, which can make the sound more staccato. It’s a pretty common thing and I know that the blue devils did this at least a few years back if they aren’t still doing it

Dosent osu use plastic heads? Just saying cuz was curious why they don’t use kevlar

They used to, they just recently made the switch when they moved from slings to harnesses.
