BCU need to get back to having 224 members on the field. They are not the same with just 192 members on the field. You can hear, see, and feel a big difference. Fund your band BCU‼️

COVID took a toll on a lot of things including school enrollment.

I see what you're saying. It looks like the t-bone & baritone numbers are the same for the 224 size, but high brass and woodwinds are considerably less. Sousaphones are a bit down as well. I always wanted them to eventually move up from 224 to 256 or something. I'm looking forward to fall '23. I want every hbcu band and university to prosper.

Btw, I've always wondered why bcu's mellophone #'s have usually been around 15 or less. They have such amazing parts; I wish it could be brought out more!
