Bandheads, why are those tubas not as loud as JSU tubas? They were louder with less, especially in the Haymer years...

For the longest time, SU Tubas were playing on Kings, first fiberglass 2370s before switching to fiberbrass 2360s in 2011. Plus, it's far easier to get loud on a King than it is on a Conn, especially since Conn Sousaphones require more airflow than Kings. In my opinion, SU Tubas may have to switch to deep funnel mouthpieces to get the most out of those Conn 20ks

@@dre9926cause Dawg Team knows what to do with their Conn 20K HD🌚 grown men!!!! 2019 DT made a lot of bands step their game up which is why you see a lot of bands start to switch their tuba playing style to DT style.

Looks like the BIG question here is, can the Jukes bounce back from that so-so season last Band Season. And if this coming Band Season is more of the same for the SU Human Jukebox and a Shake-Up with the SU Band Staff should happen in the Future, who stays, who goes, who should be recommended for the SU Band Staff, and should SU keep hiring in-house or hire outside the box?
