To be honest, this wasn't about musicianship at all. Both bands were simply in contest to see which band could push out more volume. Some of the arrangements were not good, from either, and there were times where they didn't have a sharp clean sound. Slurring and blasting. All in all, Miles must being doing something right because I've been seeing good things from them lately.

All respect do to all HBCU bands. However I was at this game and I noticed several acts of disrespect. First being the videos placed on youtube where Miles was calling out ASU. They did the same thing last year before the BOTB at ASU. Secondly, I was shocked to see Miles perform their half time show to their side. WOW! The visitors always play to the home crowd. That is even customary at the junior high and high school levels. Miles was trying to out power ASU through out the entire game. As for the 5th quarter it is obvious that ASU had more musicianship, balance and power in their selections. Miles first selection said it all. No ASU was not perfect but they had a better and more up to date selection with more crowd appeal.

From what I hear something happened a few years back with a director and the Honda staff.. I don't know if it's true but Miles should have been at Honda years ago..I personally don't care for Honda I just don't see some of them same ass bands going every year and they are boring AF and another thing is why don't Honda ever make the votes public if it's based off votes??? Both band need to work on accuracy, intonation, and pitch. Must say Miles hit more on point notes and phrases Bama has a serious chair placement problem!!! LOL!!! If they do that there(c.p.)!!! Love both bands, especially Miles, but to Miles, know when you have won and leave. That last song was not needed, although I understand why!!!LOL!!! Great Job!!!

the agreement from what I heard was 5 and out. State, however, started playing the 6th, 7th, and 8th songs. So after pmm saw how shady Oliver was being, they cranked on their behinds and wouldn't let up. "O" is a terrible business man, but his plan back fired. So that's why miles stopped playing for a second. let's get our facts straight.
