@@christopherashford4194 St Peters hustles....and limit mistakes.....they've been fortunate that nobody has found a hot hand but credit their defense. That big center from Purdue isn't agile....he's somewhat limited inside and was laughable chasing St Peters speed. Confidence is everything.....this team plays team ball....they're very well coached....they have good ball movement and they won....by far...the turnover battle. They also do a great job of slowing down the opposition. Purdue struggled to get the ball to their side of the court and it seemed to make them uncomfortable and out of sync. It takes excellent conditioning to constantly pressure the ball like they do......Pitino was probably sickened to lose the conference final to them. Now Pitino is probably thinking his team could have made a run as well. The truth....however...is that this team is embracing the moment. North Carolina is in for a dog fight. I'm a believer in this team. Amazingly this team was +1100 to beat Purdue. A 100 bet on St Peters would have brought you back 1200.....that's a nice piece of change. Scary to think how much a bet on them to make the Elite 8 would have returned if somebody bet them to beat their first 3 opponents. My mom and dad were born and raised in Jersey City in the 1950s....my siblings and I were born there. I lost both my parents over the past 8 years so it s nice to see this happening now. It's been fun watching these kids.

All the money that are being made by some of these colleges are mind blowing. Players should be given something. Only right! When you have coaches making 8 millions and more yearly and players get penalized for being offered and accepting a pair of sneakers, that’s not ok. We can do better. To me, it seems like some of these colleges have a slavery mentality. Work hard sun up till sun down and you get nothing. Players go back home and their parents are struggling while their children are making other people rich. We need to really pay attention to that.

Look at St Peter's Kenpom numbers, it's absolutely amazing what they're doing. They're in the bottom half of 300+ teams in offensive AND defensive efficiency & they're one game away from the Final Four?!? Amazing. No team with defensive efficiency outside the top 30 has has ever won a championship (in the modern era). I haven't done the numbers for Final Four participants but they would HAVE to have the lowest efficiency ratings of any team to make it (the lowest SEED ever was an 11). Just amazing, the best Cinderella we've had this century. Congrats St. Peter's, we're pulling for you!

Look at KenPom or BartTorvik AFTER their Omicron hiatus. Two totally different teams.

That foul on #0 when the shot clock always almost out was the dumbest thing he could have done!

First let me say I am a die hard Kentucky Wildcats fan and have been for 40+ years.Yes,I was upset with the loss but I have to say they out played Kentucky. Rooted for Saint Peter's the rest of the tournament. The loss against North Carolina today stopped their fantastic run. I wish there was some sort of award that Saint Peter's could be given. Absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. Great job Peacocks!!! Hold your heads HIGH!!

ST PETER'S averged a little over 500 fans at home games this season. I bet they will be getting some bigger crowds next year. Although I expect a bigger school will be hiring ST PETER'S coach for a lot of money. Also some of the best players will transfer to larger program schools. A few of the players may even follow the coach to his new school. That of course is the nature of the beast. Neither good nor bad, it just is a reality.

St Peter's guard play excellent.....Purdue coach strategy-dumb. Purdue coach was certain all he had to do was play the way they always play, totally inflexible to adjusting to superior guard play. Purdue should have at least 'tried' to put in both big guys and play high-low post defense and double low post offense. Purdue coach deserved that loss.

It’s not an advantage if the refs don’t call fouls. Edey went to the line once and Trevion twice. Do you really think in that whole game they were only fouled times

I REALLY wish channels that post sports highlights would STOP spoiling game results in video titles. There may not be many of us, but some of us don't or can't watch the games and would rather find out the results while watching the highlights and/or game replays.

I've been there before but simply just don't go on social media or intentionally try and block out any names after you search for the highlights
@FilthyCasual2682 жыл бұрын
@@whatintheFUCKbubbs the first highlight video I clicked on was the full highlights for this game. I had expected the next video up in my recommended feed to be highlights from one of tonight's other games, but instead, it was this one, so I had the result of the game of the highlight video I was watching spoiled by this video's title being next in my recommended feed, making that video feel a bit pointless to watch. If they'd have made the title something like "Saint Peter's vs. Purdue - Incredible final 3:42 of their Sweet 16 matchup" or something along those lines, myself and others in my position wouldn't have this issue. They did something like that for Illinois vs Chattanooga and Michigan vs. Tennessee, so I don't know why they couldn't have done it for this game.

They are very disciplined, tuff and clutch free throw shooters. You can tell they are gym rats and practice hard. They are the typical east coast team too. Physical and tuff despite their size disadvantage. Like the old Big East and A10 teams in the past. NY, NJ kids are tuff. Mid majors usually have good team chemistry too. Upper classmen.

The most important play of the game was clearly the inbounds pass with just under 26 seconds to go and Peter's up two. Just the awareness of Matt Lee to find the space not only to receive Banks' pass, but to dribble out of trouble as well is just astonishing

Saint Peter gonna go all the way! Win the NCAA tournament. Show them who is boss.
