My favorite song of Marcias. Saw her every year for my birthday or anniversary at the La Zona Rosa in Austin before it closed. One year i left a note on her piano to play this song and wish my husband happy Anniversary. I was thrilled she actually did and I truly felt the Power of Love that night.

Yes this was their first song that I remember thinking 'This song should have national airplay!' When they opened La Zona Rosa I actually got to sit in on Marcia's piano for 2 songs with the band then Marcia came out. Great times, great memory. Oh, bassist Don Bennett is my cousin. He married my mom's sisters daughter long ago.

My fave song of hers too. I've followed her career since 1981. She just gets better with time.

This is a great Blues/Zydeco stylist. It was a privilege to see her live in a small club in New Orleans.

Thanks and I feel they sound their best live and have heard them many times. Bassist Don Bennet is my cuz and use to live with him in Austin and even got to play keys once with the band to open for Marcia's walk-in to her show. Such good people, no matter what side-men I've seen her use. Wish she'd add a sax solo to this song tho...
