Belfast was Marcia's solo song long before BM. BM was basically a merge of two projects: Marcia's solo produced by Farian and Farian's own funk/reggae project Boney. They together just found some people more to make it look better live. Boney M meant Boney Marcia but Farian made it more abstract.
