All sound in all his clips you hear he makes at the same time while playing, except the obvious ones like clapping. His skills allow him to play bass line, melody line and rythm at the same time, on top of that he adds percussive sounds with his right hand fingers and palm. Yes, a normal human being would need probably like 6 hands to do that normally. He is the best guitarist you've ever heared, because he is the best in the world. He is like a savant, he started at age 10, by 15 he was playing the hardest songs ever composed like Tommy Emmanuel's songs, he graduated musical classical school with a perfect score, and on top of that learned with the best percussive and flamenco teachers in the world, has contract with Sony Music, has his own signature guitar with Ibanez, he is touring the world and played at The Royal Albert Hall with orchestra. He is composing his own music, and invented his own style that no one is able to replicate, and he is now only 22. Definetely check his other performances, they are mind blowing.

Thank you for your reaction to Marcin. He is a phenomenal guitarist and a brilliant arranger and plays everything from classical to rock, and also has his own beautiful compositions. He was only 19 when he did this, if you can believe it (he’s 21 now). And he has played with an orchestra, most recently at the the Royal Albert Hall in London earlier this year and also at some festivals in Poland. You are correct about the video, there is some bass in the background. It’s a pedal effect that takes the lowest note he plays on the guitar and plays it one octave lower. The rest is all him. Technically the whole thing is him because he is also an excellent producer, and depending on the track he’s playing there are varying levels of production in the background, or none at all, but there is never any overdubbing on the guitar itself. I belong to his Patreon and he plays live all the time and sounds just as incredible live as on any video. I hope you react to him again. Everything on his channel is mind blowing.

Marcin is Polish and trained in classical and flamenco guitar. He is gifted. Off the the charts talented. His playing notes left handed from the the neck of that Ibanez acoustic is insane. Flamenco - the ultimate guitar genre. I'm guessing this kid had a guitar in his hands by age 5... along with a lot of time on his hands as well. The strength in the fingers of that left hand is phenomenal. The muscle memory is apparent.

Seeing his Polish name 'Marcin', read this: [MART-sin] with the accent on the first syllable and your pronunciation will be very close to the way we say his first name in Polish. / Through his interpretations and arrangement of the classis music, not neceserily written for the guitar, he brings back the classics from the almost forgotten past and make it excited to hear and watch him playing. I think we all are blessed listening to and seeing this young guitarist, since in my opinion we feel like those whe have heard young Mozart, Paganini, Chopin and other giants of the classical music. May God bless him and leads him safely to the musical greatness to the benefit of humanity.

He has done some interviews and is now age 22. He started at age 10. This is about age 15. He and Ibanez have teamed up to build a signature guitar. His new sound I growing with his age - his talent is remarkable. He is the only creator of the sounds. He has a scratch pad added for more.

Marcin is pronunced Marchin. He combines classical, flamenco and tapping styles to make a sound that is quite unique. That method of retuning a string while playing is more often heard in bluegrass music. His improvisation is more like jazz in a way.

Marcin makes sure that the sounds he produces from the instrument are, above all, beautiful. He restores beauty that was trampled by the 20th century anti-aesthetic trends in music, painting, theatre and literature. People really yearn for beauty and Marcin gives it to them. And I am glad that I lived to see the end of the anti-aesthetic era.

He was an amazing child prodigy classical guitarist. But he felt too constrained so went off with his own style switching to steel string guitar and his percussive use of the guitar. He has a technique few finger style guitarist have; use of tremolo and incredibly fast linear playing. A true genius. Hope you will feature him again. I love his talent, amazing. One question I have is how he gets the string back in tune after he loosens it to get the effect near the end of the piece. Does he wait to the end so it doesn't get used again, or is he so talented he can hear it is back in tune in seconds?

Many commentators look for cheats in Marcin’s performances, like a second guitar playing in the background, extra percussion sounds coming from hidden speakers, bases added to the soundtrack and so on. But Marcin also does interviews, during which he plays exactly what one hears on soundtracks. He even explains how he does it! He plays out of the box, so automatically he uses techniques out of the box to achieve what he wants to achieve, to make the guitar bring out sounds and effects he wants to hear. He passes the following message: you can do anything with any instrument, even with a tuba, but you must believe in it and you need to work hard to prove it.
@MrChasekennedy Жыл бұрын
He plays with a split signal. One goes to compression and eq then to the regular amp and the other has a notch filter removing all of the notes above 150 - 200hz then it goes through a boss oc-5 pedal and then a bass amp.

Michele Vioni (professional name Dr Viossy) arranged the 3rd Movement for 2 electric guitars plus drums. He put up a KZbin in 2011 of himself playing the lead part on camera, with the backing tracks already recorded. Worth a listen. In 2016, 17-year-old Tina Setkic did a KZbin of herself playing the same lead arrangement and using the same backing tracks. She uses a hairband at the top of the fretboard so that open strings are muted. Her version sounds essentially identical to Dr Viossy's. Worth a listen, too. that was the last vid she did before "retiring."
@davidmandelstamm872511 ай бұрын
There's a lot of production behind Marcin on this performance. (That's why he's in different places!) But aside from overdubbing the hand clapping, it's all him. I'm assuming that he uses a unique tuning in order to produce some bass sounds, along with everything else he does!
