Find this style almost ugly. Distorted , often unrhythmical. This is not progression. Is anyone listening to the music .

I find the music for the waltz is atypical and poorly chosen, it is not rhythmically clear and does not have the character of the dance. But the competitors do not choose the music, they have to make the best of it. It is also possible that there can be audio/video synchronisation issues that give the appearance of being out of time...

Philip O'Shea I beg to differ sorry . Poor synchronisation does not discount why they are in and out of time. I believe there is a general jack of balance because of an ignorance of basic technique and over shaping that destabilises the base. Hence timing issues .

Looks on time to me. I agree its different from the very tame WDC style (almost no shaping), so maybe a matter of taste.
