Marco Borsato often has very moving, impressive texts. This song goes directly into your heart and brings tears to your eyes. The horror of war.... You must have seen many terrible things Highly. I hope you're coping with them as best you can, and have the support of people around you. Wish you well ❤

This song is so heartbreaking.... So real, and unfortunately still the real deal kids have to face every day.

You should watch this song from Marco recorded live in de Kuip. Marco first tells he is ambassodor for WarCild. After a while the audience starts singing. Just about 35000 voices... Goosebumps.

Such a heartfelt song. Marco always writes lyrics that pull at the heartstrings. Your story about the “sheriffs” was sooo touching. ❤️

He doesn’t write his own songs and lyrics.

@@Snikkelbek As has been said, the only number which is his own is his phone number. :) But that aside, the message of this song written by John Ewbank and Han Kooreneef is beautifully conveyed by Marco.

I often make fun of Marco Borsato and John Ewbank (his producer) . There are many songs that I dislike but not this one. This song is an absolute gem. Very moving.

I continue to hope that one day we can live together on this earth without war and hunger. That we respect each other with whatever religion, color, sexual preference or disability. And that wealth no longer matters. Unfortunately, I know that this is a now impossible. But I continue to believe in the goodness of humanity. Why do some billionaires have to have a contest of who can stay in space the longest and not put their money into making the world a better place. But I keep hoping and believing that one day things will go in the right direction. Because if I didn't I would give up. I believe in it no matter how naive people think I am. Imagine - John Lennon
