Really nice deck! Since we are gonna se a lot of Doffy meta I would recommend you to try a version of this deck with with the 5c Ace that summons another Whitebeard pirate and combo it with 4c Atmos or 3c Vista + leader hability for some really good removal and board presence. It is working really good for me.

Been playing marco preST15 at my locals and came 2nd once (lost to a lucci player topdecking a rebecca out ofcourse) and I run a similar decklist but Ive got a few questions for ya. I feel like running 3 Whitebeard and 4 Sanjis is too bricky, esp now 7c newgate is a must4of you only have so many turns to start bottomdecking ur bricks with leader effect before you have to perma-topdeck for sanji setups etc, and this is before we even talk about the amount of event bricks this leader runs I also dropped 5c Marco because I feel like I never get to play out that card; it's rarely playable on 5don curve because no human has a useful 3k body to pop, and you need to be on your 6don turn to KO a general 5k body (like Kuzan, most key 4costs etc). Only really useful as a board stick due to its antiKO power, but now with 5c Rush Ace I never feel like Marco sees play The 2c blocker is super interesting tech, because I personally run 4c blocker marco (super GOATed in matchups like BY Luffy and decks that swing big, just counter with 1brick lol) in conjunction with the 5c Blue Ace set (I run 4of 4c Blocker marco and switch around with some other tech blockers like ST15 Kingdew and Namule, since as you know surviving til late game with blockers is a key wincon) PreST15 I ran 2 3cFireFists but I just think now with 7c Newgate that event is kind of dead. Seaquake is just overall more useful and doesn't make you go -2. I personally run 3of Seaquake and occassionally 4of when my locals had alot of Zooro players. The insane usefulness of Seaquake is also what makes me wonder whether 5c Marco is ever actually useful I used to run gravity blade but have started to switch out for 2 redroc instead because I find that gravity blade is kind of expensive to play out when Rayleigh (1 don more) usually does the same thing against 2 medium bodies, and you have alternate wincons vs BY Luffy. There's alot of people who like to run those instant win-con cards on the Sim (and occassionally at locals with rogue decks) like 10c KaidoLinlin, 9c Green Zoro, 10c 12k anything etc that you simply just cannot feasibly touch with power reduction, so I find having RedRoc is a better safety net against those slow/rampy decks that can "outscale you". Just my 2 cents though

@ the beauty of marco (and many non meta decks) is that there really are many routes in which you can play him. Being a multicoloured leader gives you literally double the options (tho being 4 life is so hampering in this meta) and what you run is very dependent on what matchups you think you will verse more often at ur local scene or online etc. after watching this video I actually changed my inperson decklist a fair bit because I realised certain tools I was running just never sees play (red roc for example) because noone at inperson locals takes coinflippy risk plays (generally) such as dropping a big body with no onplay. I found from this video I really LOVE the 2c blocker idea and put in Duval blocker instead of the generic whitebeard one and am still tweaking my decklist constantly to this day depending on how many doffy players are at my locals 😂 I even dropped blue 5c ace because value plays just cant outpace Doffy and you need to be constantly removing their bodies and developing (ie with 5c red marco which I had stopped running in the past)

I would caution you to adjust it to what you think you need/want in your games. I do think absolute musthaves is 4x 3c Doffy blocker, Some Seaquakes and Sanji Pilafs, 9c Sanji paired with several other topend Rayleigh 7/9c Newgate 7c Ace (Sanji frequently bricks vs Doffy the current #1 leader but you are gimping yourself hard if you dont have this card vs any leader remotely slower), Otama 2k counter + Thatch 2k counter (you need 1-2 thatch 2k Counter to fight against decks that starve you, which is very minimal in today's meta as Enel typically wont starve 4life leaders. You only need Thatch vs Vegapunk and Nami leaders but it's otherwise an aggressive last resort option to clear a key onboard item for example) and 2x Pudding (instant wincon vs Enel/Uta/Bonney/BYLuffy if they dont play around it).

@@randynguyen6402 Depends on budget exactly. PB brought quite a bit down, but I'd say the Sanjis are definitely necessary. Whitebeard is good and cheap now, so just Silvers. Silvers albeit is really good tho

@Caasi29 If Doffy goes first and hits well off top, it can he an uphill battle. Kinda same with BY Luffy. BY Luffy you try to keep them on 2 Life and then close out in 1 turn after a Sanji into Big body turn

Why not run 4 silvers Rayleigh and drop the 9 beard to 1? Do you find playing 9 beard off of sanji better then playing Rayleigh? Also do you think searcher izo is to slow for the deck?

@@aronmartinez2454 I honestly like the 2K power from beard more onto Marco and the 10k power he has. Helps clutch games and keep alive for a turn to win after Sanji and Beard can attack. Plus beard can KO alot on swing after marco lowers attack from ability

Duval > Fossa and it doesn’t matter that Fossa is a WB pirate cause you’re not playing Izo. I also prefer 5c blocker X. Drake cause he’s a bigger doffy so u could potentially have 5 top 5 rearranges instead of the 5c Ace blocker which feels not bad but not great.

@@MrBagelBites I do also think that since you’re running 4x 7c Newgate, 3 Rayleigh 3 Sanji is probably better. Playing Rayleigh after establishing Newgate is crazy cause u can KO 2 units, 1 5k and 1 3k, AFTER Rayleigh effect. U spoke greatly of Rayleigh but u only run 2 and honestly that card is great for defense AND offense. Maybe even 1 9c Newgate can go for him. He’s 2 good with lead ability, Otama, + 7c. I do like ur list a lot tho, anybody not running gravity blade is crazy.

I second the Duval idea; Started running Duval after seeing you run Fossa and it's just the most GOATed blocker. really lets you set up your plays when going 2nd and the extra don save is sometimes super good like on 4don turn if you have to leader effect + Seaquake + duval is giga value play to remove a 5k body (basically only vs Uta and Doffy lol) Idk about XDrake because you already have doffy and duval for the same effect and sometimes the card you need to combo with is in your hand already, so the 5c Blocker Ace is better when the pieces you need are in your hand already (Especially if you take damage later and a sanji/rayleigh was stuck in ur life, for example)

@@MrBagelBites That makes sense! The faster you cycle the quicker you get the cards you need, and you can also turn use sanji pilaf on curve. In terms of sanji, do you use it on 9 DON turn or wait for 10 DON to use leader ability first?

I haven't played a many Lucci, but the BY Luffy was fairly easy. I kept them on 2 life, kept Grav blade for Sabo and then the turn after the Sanji play just went for game.

I played a lot of games against by luffy and if they know what they are doing its really really hard. If you dont see the gravity blade its unwinable 🥹 even when i throw pudding + gravity blade its hard. Marco has so much removal besides gravity blade but you cant remove anything when by luffy plays sabo every turn 😅
