putting the story chronologically: - Junji asks Rie out outside the cafe, Rie accepts - they have a good time for a while, uncomplicated fun, which is the majority of the scenes in the MVs, one of which was at the swimming pool where Rie was wearing a shirt and he takes it off - Junji is like ALL IN, while Rie isn't 100% sure about being open about their relationship, implied by the phone booth scene in Be Mine MV - OR a misunderstanding happens where Rie thinks Junji was out partying with KB cuz that's what Yoojung said he saw but Junji says he was home for most of the night (according to the story the boys used during the MV filming to get into character) - probably some combination of the last two points resulted in The Fight, where Junji overreacts a bit and walks out cuz he's Frustrated that a) Rie not believing him, or b) Rie's keeping so hush hush, and cuz that makes him feel like he's some shameless secret to Rie, OR both - Some time passes and they both run into each other at the same pool, and Rie is wearing a blue fuzzy jumper this time instead and has a sad and nostalgic smile. Things are tense, both characters are tentative andf are standing at a distance - They both then decide to go to the same cafe to talk, where Rie is still wearing the fuzzy blue jumper, and that's where Junji kisses him - the scene from the end of Be Mine MV and start of Because MV OR: Both of the pool scenes happen after The Fight. The one where Rie is wearing a fuzzy blue jumper happens before they actually talk it out and make up, and then the one where they're both shirtless and in the water and kisses underwater, that one happens a little later when they're still relearning how to be with each other again. That is the scene where they are finally having fun together again, it's just not that uncomplicated and simple anymore, it's now even more of a solid, real relationship SO. They're not over as a couple. They had some ups and downs though. And though everything isn't 100% alright as of yet, there is hope that it will be because neither want to let go of the other. Rie is still hurt, Junji is still unhappy, but they have each other again. The idea is that the scene at the end of Because MV where they were kissing under water, THAT is an example of what they're holding on to and what they're sticking out this difficult experience of recovering from a major fight for Sorry if that was too long and/or confusing, that's how I see the story and I'm very passionate about it xD

Not confusing at all, love your take on the storyline and totally agree with this ! Personally i lean more towards the theory that Rie's character is still hesitant on being more open about his relationship with JunJi's character (ex : the image of the payphone + the loving moments freely shared between the 2 characters taking place in rather secluded/private/secretive safe spaces like the bedroom or the garden VS the cafe date scene being filled with tension + the lyrics "I just want to be your world / I just want to be your only one" in "because", excluding the rest of the outside world so that only the 2 of them remain), and that it's this fear of "going public" and showing themselves to the world as they truly are that makes them drift apart. i'm also down for the bittersweet ending with the characters reuniting and kinda making up. Looks like they are willing to try to rekindle their relationship and to understand/accept their partner better (hence Rie's character seemingly agreeing to go to the public cafe with JunJi's + JunJi's character reaching out to Rie's and trying to support him by touching his hand, when he feels his partner is closing off and still insecure). Just as you said, it seems that they still love each other but are also aware that their problems haven't disappeared (with Rie's character still being hesitant and insecure about being more open, and JunJi's character still wishing they could show their relationship to the world) and that the scars they got from their breakup still remain... So in a sense, they're still hopeful they'll be able to heal and grow from that experience over time, with patience and efforts from the both of them so that their relationship can work and become stronger and healthier. A bittersweet ending but still full of hope and with a very realistic approach ! :) As always with OOO, we get to see that relationships are more often that not multifaceted and grey, with both positive and negative elements to them (it's not all sun shining and birds chirping, but rather a bumpy road with real issues and obstacles that the characters have to face together, so that they can grow as individuals and build a stronger bond between them).

This pair is so cute! IRL, they're very silent and shy most of the time. Rie and JunJi have another song which they made showcasing that. It's titled 'cOy'. JunJi is two, one, and six years younger than Rie, Yoojung, and KB and calls them all "hyung"😊 Rie is OnlyOneOf's peach boy. That's his nickname because his face is shaped like a peach😂. Also he's obsessed with how round JunJi's 🍑 is. Their personalities are the most mellow among the six. OnlyOneOf is going to star in a boyslove/BL drama later. They're adapting a web novel called Bump Up Business. It's set in the world of idols and deals with off stage relationships and "fanservice". Can't wait for that!!!

What I think of the song is that Rie was scared to make their relationship public because of how he was in the phone booth while the others were outside of it. Also that the papercranes represent patience. Junji has lost his by throwing them and stomping on them. Although they might have broken up or just went through a rough patch, I believe they got back together at the end because of how much distance they had the beginning of the pool scene while in all their other scenes they were close. Also because by the end, we see Rie in that same scene like he let out fresh air and pressure of what others thought of their relationship. That's what I think, though :)

Loved this reaction as well ! The expressions you made were just priceless, was both laughing and crying a bit at the same time x'D think we all went through this when watching the MVs for the 1st time, so totally understand you ! Glad you commented once again on the Cinematography (yes, with a capital C, cause these MVs are just pure pieces of art at this point). The MVs were so carefully shot, with beautiful colours and lighting... and they have such a natural and realistic feel to them, it suits this concept of portraying realistic relationships so freakin well it's absolutely wonderful. And the moment when JunJi's and Rie's characters were dancing together with such bright smiles and looks of pure happiness on their faces... fuck, that was just so precious and beautiful. The MVs do really have that k-drama vibes you mentionned. All members acted and portayed their respective characters so well ! They're actually supposed to play in a short k-drama called "Bump Up Business" later this year, so i think you and us can all be excited for this >:) The songs in themselves are excellent as well, so diverse too ! Over the 6 solo songs, my fave is also "because" (then "begin" and "beyOnd"). Love all 6 of them to be honest :) and love how you had this revelation about Rie in his MV, he truly is so special ! Personally i don't have biases in OOO, but Rie was the 1st member to catch my attention with his beautiful voice and soft appearance, so it's always heartwarming to see other people praising him and his talent ! The solo songs really did a great job showcasing the vocal assets of each member, showing them as talented artists who can also shine individually and cast their own colourful lights onto OOO's art ! Other people already perfectly explained the theories for these 2 MVs in the comments so i won't further get into it. Just wanted to throw some additional interpretations for elements that you picked up : - the continuity in the different MVs > when "be mine" and "because" came out, most lyOns theorized that they were the sequel of "begin" and "be free" (with Yoojung's and KB's characters now being in a relationship and seeing each other at Yoojung character's new workplace, and JunJi's character being KB character's friend). But when "beat" was released, we got to the conclusion that the 3 sets of MVs seemed to take place in separate universes/dimensions. Actually, the 1st theory can still be supported : "beat"/"beyOnd" could be the prequel of the series, with the characters still being students and KB's character a teacher, then a few years later Yoojung's and KB's characters meet again and fall for each other in "begin"/"be free"... and finally some time later it's the turn of JunJi's and Rie's characters to meet again and get into a relationship. - the shadowy figure standing behind/between the 2 characters in "be mine" during the kiss scene in the cafe > this has to be taken with a grain of salt as it might just be a coincidence when filming the MV, but there could be a deeper meaning behind it. Throughout OOO's lore and discography, we can notice the recurring presence of mighty/mysterious/mystical entities being figures of power/control/manipulation/domination/oppression over the characters of the songs and MVs (ex : the godess in "sage" or Picasso in "dOra maar"...). There's this topic of pressure put over the characters by different higher figures (would it be because of religious adoration or sexual attraction that the characters feel towards them, or because of the fear and sense of dread and despair they inspire in the characters). One theory is that these figures could be metaphors for the pressure and control imposed by society and religion in their most conservative norms and aspects. Because of these, the characters of OOO's universe tend to repress their identity and true feelings despite their deeper desire to be free and to fully express themselves. For example in "be mine" MV, we can see the 2 characters sitting together in the cafe, trying to reconnect with each other through touching hands and staring in each other's eyes... but there's this blurry figure (the godess ? the "angel" ?) standing between the 2 of them in the distance like a higher power watching on the characters and trying to keep them apart by instilling in them feelings of doubt, insecurity and fear (or even sinfulness and self-hatred/rejection). Ultimately, the figure disappears behind the kiss as the characters seemingly manage to overcome these feelings and let their love be expressed. That's it for this reaction (so now on to the next one) ! Really appreciated it too, so thanks a lot for that :)

Most of the pool scenes are post-breakup and there's no "happy ending". Its all nostalgia and melancholy at the end You should watch the behind the scenes for their MVs, especially the 6 solos. According to their funny backstory, Rie caught JunJi hanging out with KB late night without telling him and when he asks him about it, he gets mad. Yoojung made fun of the scene that Rie asked JunJi if he ate his chicken and that's why he got mad🤣 KB and Yoojung visited them like a cute supportive couple when they were filming those apartment scenes. KB was shocked to see the "breakup kiss" scene. My poor 30 year-old man probabaly got jealous he didn't get to kiss Yoojung in their MVs.😁
