Seeing the ' grab ' bike reminded me that in Seattle the new rules are to add an additional $5. delivery charge on to the bill. This is supposed to give the delivery folks an income of a minimum of $15. per hour or more. Back fired, 30,000 less deliveries in one month in and around the Seattle area. On youtuber likes to order a burrito, big one and the cost 'was' $18. now it would cost about $35. with tip and the other charges tacked on in Seattle. He is only 1 1/2 miles from the taco stand and has said I will drive down and get it myself. This new added fees are killing the delivery peoples jobs.

The very first building as you drive into Mactown New Town is a McDonalds. I always wondered how they got first spot and not Jolly Bee. That had to cost a good amount. Jolly Bee is down the street a couple hundred feet. Anyway, their meals are excellent. My wife may at times stop and bring me the Big Mac and one of the Chicken Burgers.

Dude! You’re being too nice! Pleas say “NO” if you feel you’re being taken advantage of. This is one of those Filipinos ( your taxi driver) that are giving you a run around for your money! Iam so upset for you! I am not sure if you are doing this for the vlog but it hurts watching you letting some ah Pinoys making you look like an easy target. Don’t get me wrong, but most Pinoys are honest but once in a while you’ll come across with someone who’s quite conning, like this guy! You could have just said know earlier and payed him and looked for another cab. Do not be afraid to reject or say no if you have to! They can’t impose on you! Most people will help you in a case like this. This guy is an asshole and using a “delaying tactics, for his meter.” What pissed me off is that you still offered him to eat with you! Oh my gosh! A taxi will drive you all over town if they think they have some one who has no idea where they are. It pisses my wife off when she tells the driver where to go and he tries to take a round about way to run up the meter.

the reason why many mcdonalds will slow to serve customer at counter is because they want to encourage people to use the self check out machine. If you ever see the self check out machine, be expected they will pretend they are busy while you stand at the cashier front desk. They know you are there but it's their policy to have you wait a bit and you'd be surprised how many people get frustrated and ended up leaving front cashier and use the machine and pay with card instead.

I myself is from Cagayan de Oro City, and the nearest mc donalds from where you stay which is in Agora bus terminal is in Centrio Mall. You can just even walk that my friend. Do NOT try to understand Mindanao (Bisaya) talking talking. DO say very directly where you must go and what you want. Use google maps they *many taxi drivers* even do not know the way and look weird at you when you say where is your GPS or google maps. Big huge miscommunications will happen if you try to understand everything. But no better place to be no nicer people once you try *not* to understand:) Visaya Mindanao ❤

Heading to Ayala Mall on Sunday for our Dental apts., mom makes a left at a light that had just gone into the yellow warning and a traffic officer waves her over. You went through the green zero, No, it was still yellow. Mom (wife) gives her license and ins. papers, cop goes back of the car probably looking for some money that might be hidden behind the license. My wife quit that and will argue with the cop. We got off as they may not push the stop with an American in the car like they would with a local if the infraction was not serious. She has been stopped numerous times over the years for dumb reasons but has never gotten a ticket.

Jollibee is the only fast food oultlets I eat at... its like a cross between McDonald's and KFC but a lot better than both. I avoid McDonald's here in the UK but at least the McDonald's in the UK is better than the ones in the USA with all the sh!t they put in the foods there. Looks like quite an interesting city...also looks like the only white guy in town. I don't know if that's good or bad! Is it just me or does it seem that they don't talk such good English here. I couldn't understand hardly anything they said. It would be pretty hard putting up with the beggars. If they need it is one thing but I just believe they are just out for a buck. It no doubt would get on my nerves with people pestering for money all the time. Old or crippled is one thing but those young guys get hungry enough they can get a damned job like everyone else! Id have a hard time dealing with that.

P.S. giving coins to kids who come up to your car window may be taken immediately by an older kid who uses the young ones to ask for money. McDonalds at Lim Ket Kai Mall is very close. You can walk from Win Min, Agora Market to McDonalds Lim Ket Kai too easy, and that is the first and biggest McDonald in CDO. Your taxi driver brought you to Xavier University McDonalds, which is a bit farther from Win Min Lodge.

Another great video mate. I agree with you about Jollibee, gets a little tiring after you've been dozens of times and are stuck with Iced Tea or Pineapple drink as they are always 'Out of stock' with the Coke etc. Mang Inasal or Chowking any day for me over Jollibee. Depends where you are though. If you are in a smallish provincial town for weeks without much choice, Jollibee will do 😉
