Honestly Dan is a really good player. Of course freitas was taking it easy playing lots of lobs but to even return the serves of a pro you need to be quite good especially at reading spin. Some people laugh on the internet about how he gets beat but those guys are the best in the world and most rec players wouldn't even return a single serve or block a single topspin of the pro on the table.

Freitas has got one of the best reverse pendulum serves in the world, his pendulum serve is pretty meh compared to that. Here he used the RP serve only once, which Dan misread. He was kind enough not to use the serve again 😊.
