Yep, I watched that historic event nearly 2 weeks ago. So far, only one news program under the new Syrian government was aired live. Until Syrian TV goes back to its regular programming with propagandas thrown off the window, it's currently showcasing government bulletins.

The time when Reformist rebels captured Channel 4 and suddenly cutting off its broadcasts during Marcos' press conference, but abruptly returned to cover the EDSA Revolution with Orly Punzalan and Maan Hontiveros delivering a welcome broadcast.

Orly Punzalan is a regular voice at the Catholic-owned Radyo Veritas back in the day, whose transmitter was bombed at the time by loyalist forces, kaya they were forced to do their running People Power coverages elsewhere, more notably on a weaker radio station DZRJ-AM owned by the Jacintos until they finally landed at the ABS-CBN Broadcast Center where Channel 4 was before.

You know when a dictator's grip over the state is crumbling into pieces is when he starts to show his family including the family's children like as if they are crying for sympathy to the whole world as if they were human too. Inhumanity towards dictatorship is a form of justice for the people who had enough with their atrocity.

Some most of former ABS-CBN employees (including Johnny "Mr. M" Manahan and former ABS-CBN General Manager Jake López), newscasters and reporters from Radyo Veritas (including June Keithley and Orly Punzalan), former ABC newscaster Jose Mari Velez and then GMA newscaster Tina Monzon Palma all joined the New TV-4.

@@feelunknown1770 But after the Revolution, Monzon-Palma and Mari Velez became anchors of GMA Headline News from 1986-91 and from 1986-90, when they returned to GMA on May 19, 1986, including his hosting for a weekly news magazine program Weekend with Velez which became known as Velez This Week until his death in 1990, on the other hand, Monzon-Palma left GMA in 1991, for unknown reasons.
