Quanta saudade meus amigos queridos, dos domingos, quando íamos ao Cine Metrópole, na Av. Leopoldino de Oliveira, em Uberaba, na sessão das dezenove horas, com minha inesquecível namorada, Áurea Lúcia, depois minha noiva e esposa. Isto nos idos de 1959. Chegando sempre mais cedo justamente para ficar se deliciando das maravilhosas músicas, que nos embalavam nos deixando mais apaixonados, vindas do som do cine, a maioria das vezes executadas pelo Mantovani e sua orquestra. Hoje, com 81 anos, triste e saudoso pela sua partida em 15 março 19, curto as belas músicas que eram do nosso gosto comum, com abundantes lágrimas vertendo de meus olhos... Obrigado a quem postou esse áudio, procurando manter viva, em nossa alma, a verdadeira música...

The orchestra and Mantovani as conductor was wonderful. However, I admired more the musicians who emoted their feelings playing the different instruments. They maybe unknown but their playing lives on. The violins , solo, drips solid emotional impact to that part of the brain.
