I remember I did a d1 raid and was new to it. We tried oryx only 3 times and on the last I screwed up because I was relatively new to the very last encounter and couldnt remember about the orbs. Instead of help me out or cool off, they kicked me. It was pretty childish and kinda irritating seeing as I was there for about 3 to 4 hours putting up with their mistakes in the easier encounters. The raid community can be very piss taking.

I think you need to be really lucky to find a good team cos there were some kids I played with once on last wish, I got carried and got 1k first try and now we do loads of raids and I got the new rocket launcher first try on day 3 or sum I think. If you keep looking, you'll find some cool guys who you can do loads of raids with

TBF without stompees hunters can’t jump good but you can jump onto the sides of the pillars. Being a hunter myself and going through Zero Hour and Whisper a lot more than a normal person would, I’ve improved my jumping game with and without stompees.

Players like you are the reason I and so many others are worried to get into raids. Imagine you are genuinely trying your best and still learning the game but out of nowhere, the sherpa turns out to be famous and rather than helping, they just laugh at you and posts a video for thousands of other people to take the piss out of you. Was doing scourge with a couple friends and we needed peeps so we LFG’d and the first people we got were a group of European dudes, we couldn’t understand what they were saying and they left after they got the raid sparrow. That same day we got another guy who degraded everyone for being “slower than him” and told me to go hide in a hole during Dps phase after I died once, then proceeded to spam us with hate mail when we kicked him. I did last wish a few days ago with 5 guys and I was with my hunter and it was my first ever raid in destiny and my friend didn't tell me how mechanical raids are.
