Pub Battles Antietam 1862 Review

Excellent review, Marco! You hit on all the key points that I like about the system. The Waterloo scenario is also interesting. It is just a case of three armies slugging it out with not a lot of maneuver, but with the chit draw, every draw is tense. Every draw carries its own weight. The Brigade scale is now out with the exact same rules, but roughly twice as many half as wide blocks per chit draw. Neither brigade nor Division is better, it's all down to personal feeling. I can't wait to see your review of one of those! Brandywine is out with brigade scale, same number of blocks but half (more accurate) size. I love the way it feels.

i play pub Battles solitaire, and find the chit draw creates a great FoW because even with perfect knowledge of the enemy's plans, you still need the right chit draw to make it work. you videos are very informative, and quite enjoyable to watch.

Nice video about Antietam battles and Pub Battles system. That's the way I feel it, understand it, play it. And every other games with pub battles system make the tension grow again and again. Thank you for all the other gamers who want a different and beautiful wargame.
