Nice video - just a detail: I think a lens cleaning is due - it's been fuzzy in the middle of the picture lately :)

I ask, recommend one book about the narrative of the game, If possible not too academic but not Hollywood nonsense.

Great review! I already own & enjoy "Soldiers in Postmen's Uniforms" which is similar and after watching your review I'm thinking of adding "Pavlov's House 2nd Edition"! Gee, thanks for the extra expense...lol😃

To me my first thing on my mind when I see a designed-for-solitaire game is whether it's going to give me interesting decisions or not; whether it's going to be more like Carrier or more like B-17 Queen of the Sky, the State of Siege series or D-Day at Omaha Beach, which quite frankly feel less like games and more like story-generators (nothing wrong with that but not my cup of tea). I'm not sure which category this one falls into. The other thing is what's with solitaire Stalingrad games these days? Vento Nuovo is just releasing Stalingrad Inferno, also solo.

Just got the game and noticed the rule book says there are 62 Wehrmacht counters. I have only 5 counter sheets with 38 Wehrmacht counters. I assume the book is wrong and the correct count is 38.

I got this on Kickstarter arrived a month ago because it looked different. Glad I did. I think the game needs more exposure. Thanks marco.

Why war games almost always have ugly graphic design? Cheapskate authors or just lack of sense for a good art?

Do you mean the counters? I thought the board looked pretty good.

Nah, everything looks like a prototype material. Ugly as hell.

That's what I tend to think of euro games and Ameritrash games. I find them garish and ugly as hell. On the other hand give me anything from the Battles from the Age of Reason or Great Campaigns of the American Civil War series and now we're talking!

because war is not pretty. and pretty components are usually a sign of mediocre games (not always, but often)
