Harlan Howard once said all you need to make a good country song is three cords and the truth. This song is the epitome of that notion. THIS is the type of music radio stations should be playing more of...instead of so much over-produced noise some are trying to pass off as music. Songs like this are simple, meaningful, and anyone who has ever lost a loved one in their life can 100% identify with these lyrics.

As we age we question our mortality and ask these questions. I am now 71 gonna be 72 in October so this really hits home. I am the lone survivor of my core family so I can't wait to see my family again. I miss them all so much especially over the Holidays. Where there used to be 12+ now there is only me. So all these questions and musings have merit. Bravo. Thank you for a beautiful song. May your career and Life flourish.❤

Just got this from a girls father that’s 71-72 years old. He is roughly a sole survivor of his family at this point. I’m barely over half your age and as a sole survivor of my family this really hits home. I’ve been questioning those things ever since I was a kid. I know too early but you just never know. Everything can be over overnight

Bless you. I'm the youngest of six. I can still recall the night when I was about 5 years old or so, following the death of my great grandmother, that I first realized a day would come when memories of all the Christmas mornings and family vacations and even just the way my dad always smelled of coffee and aftershave would exist nowhere outside of my own mind. If I got any say in what heaven should be like, I'd want some kind of giant family table and everyone sitting around joking and laughing and debating like we always did.

I lost a good friend a month ago.. She had been ill for a couple years and chose to stop seeking treatment to prolong her condition , which was never going to improve, treatment was painful and each time she had a crisis it was worse than the previous one. .She was blessed to be able to see her loved ones, and many friends. Make her own choices about her celebration of life . We tend to fear death... to live well, love much and prepare for the next step are gifts. Many thanks to Hospice workers who give such amazing care and help.

I had a stroke 17 yrs ago and my life was turned upside down, Almost all my friends disappeared. I asked God, why this, why this. Of course it was natural to call out and cry out for hope. I started all over again and my faith in God grew ever larger, deeper. Life is more than the things we see. I'm not just a bag of flesh that lives and dies. I have a purpose and I'm so glad I regained so much back and much much more. I see the world differently; I forgive quicker, I love with more sincerity. and more reflection. Jesus gave me more life to live and I want to live it well.

THIS SONG Is special because of the times we are living. Many people are thinking of that day, and I as a Christian a beliver in Jesus Christ I think of how is going to be when we fight the good fight to make it to the arms of Jeuss! 12 Fight the good fight of faith. Lay hold on eternal life, to which you are called and have professed a good profession before many witnesses. .Matthew 24:13-14 MEV [13] But he who endures to the end shall be saved. [14] And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached throughout the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

Heard this song for the first time a few weeks ago, and I keep coming back. I think the next time someone asks what I do believe, this will be my answer. All the answers, faiths, and legends I have encountered seem too small, too simple, yet something in me cannot quite let go of the thought that dismissing them all as just wishful thinking is no less simplistic.
