Can you tell me why the seat function 11 is not working nor does it show up on the function screen anymore. My son had ALS and we cannot adjust his seat at all. The chair will move forward and back but the seat doesn't recline or move at all. Please help Insurance won't pay. Can you guide me thru troubleshooting this problem.

how do you turn off the diving lights on that chair chair is off but lights stay on

There is a separate button that controls the lights, it is about 3" long and looks kinda like an egg. It can be mounted anywhere but most commonly it can be found under the seat or under the arms. Hope this helps!

Does the Q logic have a steer correct function ? Or is there an option in the programmer to adjust it ? Thank you

A dealer programmer would have to adjust that.

Red X and says Brake 2, how do you fix that?

Red X would mean its not in a upright seated postion, that X will go to a green circle when its in safe driving position. The brake 2 is most likely you have one of your motors in freewheel.

Hello friend, I have a Quantum chair and my controller got wet right where the charger connector enters to charge the batteries 🔋 I didn't realize that it was wet and I put it to charge like that and now the controller doesn't work it just shows some on the screen letters that say registering the network and it does not enter the functions command to use the chair, I would like to know what I can do in this case

More than likely you will need a new joystick. Your best option, find a local mobility dealer that is a dealer of Quantum units and take it in for a tech to look at. They would be able to see if indeed you need a new one or not.

Can I change my controller for this one? Are they basically plug and play as my chair came with a crappie controller cheaper model Quantum edge 3

Depending on the controller they would probably not be plug and play, they have different connecting cables

I had to replace the controller and now it says error 42. Do you know how to fix this? I tried following the steps listed on alliedmedical but no dice. It is the correct part but it wont work. The place we got the chair from no longer accepts her insurance and no wheelchair company will work on a chair they did not sell us. Im sorry if this is inappropriate, I am just desperate as this is the only why she can move anywhere around the house.

Error 42: Incompatible Secondary Module When adding or removing any device that is part of the Q-Logic system (hand controller, enhanced display, AAM etc) OR when ECON-W does a firmware update you may get this error when turning on the powerchair. I would say since you cant find anyone who will work on it to call Quantum and speak with them to see if they have a way to assist with this issue. There number is 1-833-745-3835.

For the 75 error code on the Q-Logic joystick, that means, motor disconnected, check motor brake connector. You may want to check that motor break connector and if you cant see anything wrong, get it into a local mobility store for a tech to take a look at it.

Mine is stuck on parameter in progress and shuts off! I can’t use my chair! How do fix this?

You're best bet would be to contact Quantum at 800-800-8586. Talk to one of their techs and they will be able to help you out. This could be numerous issues and they would be able to diagnose a machine that they built. Hope this helps!
