After all those years these masks still hold up so good. One of the best vampire series. I still remember when trailer with werewolves running across walls towards Seline was released and first time I almost pissed myself when Victor came on the screen looking like a zombie. Blade 2, Underworld, Underworld 2, Van Helsing, Night Watch. We were spoiled in early 2000s with vampire movies.

Alexander Corvinus: The source of all oddities of nature. He was the only one who was alive when the village was raptured from an unknown plague. He’s body adapted to the virus. Leading up to his sons adapting to the vampire/ Lycan virus and being the first. Poetic.

Blame Ana Forester the so-called director of Underworld Blood Wars for that. According to her. David is better and more special than Michael Corvin for some reason. She also says that Selene doesn't need Michael. Yeah Selene doesn't need Michael Corvin. Her soulmate. The person who helped her defeat Victor, William Corvinus, Marcus Corvinus and Kandril. Being the father of their daughter. So I don't know why Ana Forester thinks that. Heck someone on Twitter asked her this "Will Scott Speedman/Michael ever return?". Her answer "It's all about vagina power". I see why she did this. She knows that Michael Corvin is way more powerful than Selene is. Even after Blood Wars. He's still stronger than her. If he's in the movie. He will overshadow her.

@@BGatts666 If you have ever watched, "Interview With a Vampire", one of the French "elders", he's not really an elder, he just thinks he's one of oldest vampires, being 400 years old, says that the #1 thing that kills a vampire (immortal) isn't time, but loneliness & not being able to adapt to the times. They reach a point where it all becomes dull & pointless, that they end up killing themselves. The irony of being immortal would be that you lose your sense of belonging. The world changes, but you do not, mentally.

4:52. That a snip of the original love scene. In the original version. Selene was going to flip them over. Then Selene would be on top of Michael Corvin and continues to make love to him. I think she was even going to scream in pleasure or an organism. But it was cut. Because Kate Beckinsale was not comfortable with it. So Len Wiseman took it down a notch and was able to slip a bit of it in this scene.

I loved these movies..but they made Michael out to be some mix breed super version of both species only to have get completely dominated by Victor...and then Marcus dusted him off like a bug. Michael was pretty much the weakest of both...or either species. Kind of dumb

I love Alexander Corvinus was kind to Michael Corvin and giving him the pendant. Because he's the modern result of his human son. Maybe another reason why Marcus disliked his father. Is because Alexander favoured him. Over Marcus and William. This could be why Marcus and William had such a strong bond. They probably looked down on their human brother. Because he wasn't Immortal and was the one their father favoured. I wish we could learn more about this third son of Alexander Corvinus. Aside from him being the one who lead down the Corvinus bloodline to Michael Corvin. Like his name and how he died. Did he die of old age or killed in battle? So if they make an Underworld 6 with Scott Speedman coming back as Michael Corvin. They should not only have Michael show his potential that was built up in the first 2 movies. But him learning more about his heritage.

Michael Corvin is not coming back since he was killed offscreen in the last movie by being drained of 100% of his blood.

Also I think most of the actors/actresses have become to old to reprise their roles now since their roles are supposed to immortal and eternal young😂😂 But a reboot with new actors and actresses could maybe work.

@@UouttoooCorrection. Scott Speedman did want to come back. He still does. Last year for an interview for the 20th anniversary of Underworld 1. He said that he loves being Michael Corvin. He's more than happy to come back as the Lycan-Vampire Hybrid. As long as it's a big and important role in the movie. In fact he wanted Michael to take charge and become more powerful in Underworld Awakening. But the creators just pushed him to the side. Ana Forester the so-called director of Underworld Blood Wars. Claims that David is better and more special than Michael Corvin for some reason and that it's all about vagina power. So don't pin it on Scott Speedman. Pin it on those stupid creators.

Well, it seams pretty logical at this state. Since Alexander and his team going to die - no one lefts to clear mess after his sons. Especially with Marcus intention to free William (and start a new global war than). So he finally made a sane decision (also looks dissapointed by Marcus actions)

I would loved it if Michael actually told Alexander that Selene is not like Marcus and William. Because even though she blindly killed Lycans for something they never did. She saved him even after finding out that Lucian bit him. Was willing to abandon everything for his sake. Despite only knowing him for less than a few days. Says he sees a beautiful spirit in her and that's why he fell in love with Selene. Taking Alexander back a bit. Selene placing her hands over her heart at what Michael just said about her. Making her love him even more. This would have made his "death" in this scene with more of an impact.

Michael asks her if they are together. Selene places her hand over his. She looks at him in the eyes and says "yes". That would have been fun to see.

To the point where Selene's butt is visible and she puts herself on top of Michael. I think they were going to have her scream in pleasure and have an organism. But it was cut short because Kate Beckinsale wasn't comfortable with it. But when Marcus drinks Selene's blood and you slow it down. You can see a snip of the original love scene.
