Riley Leonard will be the reason why Notre Dame will lose more games. before his injury at Duke last year he threw for 4 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions... The season before he threw for 20 touchdowns but also had 6 interceptions. He is physically gifted and can run the ball but he lacks the "it" factor. He lacks confidence sometimes and makes too many boneheaded mistakes too often. he was too dependent on good run play and a good defense to bail him out of tough games the past two years. Notre Dame shot themselves in the foot when they decided to pick him up right after the season ended instead of waiting for better QB's to emerge and potentially get.

I don’t think ND ran in 1st and then 2nd more then 4 times, one time they did went for a TD. Abandoned run first. Many pass formations were empty backfield. ND needs slants, seams, and screens. How many passes are “sit downs” or out to side lines ? Worse OC planning. And no too few adjustments.

Dude!!!! Stop being all in your feelings and sit Leonard!!! Play the QB who convincingly won a bowl game last year!!! Just because someone commits to you in their final year of eligibility out of the transfer portal does NOT mean you have to play them. For crying or loud, leonard will be a UDFA!!!!

Terrible schedule! Texas A&M is not a signature win. Probably not top 10 in the SEC.

You know what a real deserving top 5 team in the nation wouldve done to NIU? Beat them by 41+ points. Thats what elite top 5 programs do. ND is mediocre pretending to be elite

Sam Hartman was a great Qb before he went to ND. Riley Leonard was a great Qb before he went to Nd. I don’t think the QBs are the issue.

How does Notre Dame not get top recruits at quarterback?

WHY TF DID THIS HAPPEN? Poor coaching and not seeing Leonard aint it.
