The Hiltons represented the peak of graceful ballroom dancing. Before them dancers were plodding and dull, and nowadays the Russians and East Europeans have emphasised strength and masculinity but the subtlety and musicality have gone.

Thanks everyone for watching and commenting! This event 1999 REVERENCE CUP in Moscow was my last dance competition organised in Russia and second visit to me of Marcus and Karen. They felt themselves it was one of their best performance ever. Soon after they retired being 9 times World Champions and their son Henry was born)) Life is continuing. I am glad to have them as friends and colleagues in our lovely dance world)))

Music sounds like it's written for viola and orchestra resembling the violin theme in Schindler's List written for Itzak Perlman. The Hiltons are my favorite ballroom dancers too. Some believe a great choreography begins with choosing great music. Don't know which was ritten first, but undeniably both are great. The timing was MUCH BETTER in Blackpool final 1998, their true masterpiece (not this).This is not world class like the FANTASTIC Blackpool final Waltz 1998, with timing expert Bill Irvine watching and speaker of the event.
