I'm pushing 50. And the past 3 to 5 years, I have noticed a resurgence a musical artist making roots,folk,& blues music. The art of this type of music was dying. It's people like Marcus King and many others on a similar musical path with love for the stuff, that are opening doors again and people's minds both alike, to listen to real music that doesn't have fake drums and Auto-Tune. I'm very happy to see young people with a love to this type of music. It gives me faith that it will keep on being made and not die off and we'll be left to listen to records from decades ago.

Amen bro! I can only echo your sentiments. Too many good looking but mediocre at best 'musicians' out there, auto-tuned all to hell and back, pumping out third rate commercial pap! 😠. And the worst of it is it keeps real musicians off the airwaves and out of public consciousness.

He played Turner Hall in Milwaukee in November the last two years. Standing Room kind of place. Saw him there with a crowd of about 50 people a couple years ago. Would really like to see him get to the Pabst Theater. What a special artist! Hopefully returns again this year.
