The blues master of our time. Easily my favorite musician of my generation. I was always so jealous that my parents generation got to grow up listening to all the best classic rock bands in their prime. When they were young, full of life and still sounded good. Now I know what it feels like.

First time I saw Marcus King was 2018 in New Orleans at the Howlin Wolf and Bishop Gunn opened up for him. Years later Bishop Gunn's guitar player and him are jamming together on KZbin, awesome moment.

I never hear people talking about marcus' note selection and phrasing.. He knows the same scales as we all do but manipulates them in a way most of us don't even think of, all while sounding conventional and musical.. Amazing player and musician.

Jenny when an artist gets a ghostwriter it’s no shame it kickstarts their creativity and brings in fresh blood I should know I’ve covertly written for a heap of people including Marcus and Leonard cohen so it’s really no shame if even Mr cohen had to ask me for my tunes….
