Little disappointed Dan Patrick interrupted his own question and Marcus didn't get to answer when he talked to Chip Kelly last. I thought that was a good question (that didn't have the opportunity to be answered). . . . .
@accord219 жыл бұрын
He interrupted because he realized that if Marcus was to answer that question wrong he could get into trouble with the NCAA. So he cut him off as to not have him possibly get himself in trouble.

Which QB's career did we ruin? Please dont say Sanchez. Guy got us to two AFC ships then when we didnt have a running game to support him, showed off what kind of QB he is. Hes showing it in Philly right now as well.
@josephvincent98169 жыл бұрын
Mo Wat He's going to The bucs.He'll do just fine. He's a taller more accurate russell wilson and that is fucking great. Tampas defense is pretty good and they got a receiving core they'll finish with a 10 win record and most likely make the playoffs

PlayFPS4Life You sir are the moron. The system Mariota ran in college does not translate to the NFL. The NFL QB game is based on how quickly you can go through your progressions. Bottom line he can be a great QB if given time to sit and develop. He does not throw NFL type passes at Oregon
@theman55able9 жыл бұрын
eliott970 Mariota goes through his progressions very quickly while on the run most of the time (hence the reason why he utilizes all of his receivers.) You realize that in the PAC 12 game Carington 3rd got most of the receptions guess what. He plays 3rd receiver. Byron Marshall was playing first and Devon Allan was playing second. Carrington had only 1 td catch and that was against Stanford. The only reason why he was in the game was because Dwayne Stanford and Keenon Lowe were injured. Marcus is very good when it comes to quickly going through his progressions and finding the open man.

Film don't lie, this guy is a hard worker. Hawaiians are warriors, and the Oregon system probably doesn't go with a traditional offense but NFL offenses utilize similar play types in their system. Look what George Fox did with manning, throwing play action passes, dropping back from under center, attacking in the shotgun, the pistol, etc. they ran screen routes and pitches and attacked mid field a lot as well as deep down field. I've seen Mariota develop and buy into this system, he shows that he is willing to learn and he can learn fast. In Oregon he really was held back from his full potential because of that chip kelly system cemented into place. Also he gives a team a plus because they now have the option play in their back pocket. After the preseason Mariota will have a comfort level with whatever offense is given to him. Personally I believe Mariota will flourish if put into a west coast offense because the similarity of throws in both offensives are the same. They are short to median range throws with some deep passes mixed in there. You need a mobile QB in the pocket extending plays making accurate passes and that's Marcus Mariota. And don't also think about this, with how good Mariota is with the option play the more the run game will flourish. It doesn't need to be fancy option plays just efficient ones and if they can figure out a way to mix the option game with the pro style under center offense, you got yourself an offense that can make a playoff run.

Wow i have a hard time believing this guy will be a great QB if he cant even raise his voice. The QB needs to be the loudest. He's like a bashful child
@dredokkk9 жыл бұрын
Exactly, he is good player but a vocal QB will always be better than a quiet QB. I have doubts about how good he will be in the NFL.
@TheCHOCOLATEsteven9 жыл бұрын
Idk.. Public speaking is a bit different compared to leading a team and calling plays on the field.
@StuPedahso9 жыл бұрын
Andre Williams really?!!! You must have been that guy on the sideline with your helmet and mouthpiece in and never got to play the game. There is such a thing called humility and his heritage is soaked in it. Just because you're one way off the field doesn't make him on the field. You my friend need to get out more
@dredokkk9 жыл бұрын
Luke Hodge Vocal QB breeds dividends for the spirit of a football team. That position is about leadership it's bonus if that player can speak to his comrades. An outspoken QB will always be a bigger asset than a quiet QB.

He seems boring and not quite intelligent but hey...not the first and last in the NFL :)
@wuxiagamescentral9 жыл бұрын
He has a 3.2 gpa in general science while that might not seem impressive that is Oregon’s pre-med program
@WoodZeeOwl9 жыл бұрын
How could you infer his intelligence from that? If anything his quiet nature is a sign that he's smarter than the loud mouth thugs that make up the NFL. And boring? How about nervous...How many talk shows have you been on? Oh none? Yeah shut the fuck up.
@Hk86bs9 жыл бұрын
But I'm sure he will be drafted in the Top5...Tampa or Tenesse. I think at those franchises he can develop
@jayrbadasss9 жыл бұрын
This guy is ridiculously smart. Lol just because you're quiet doesn't mean you're stupid
@Hk86bs9 жыл бұрын
I must say you're right. Now that i have watched the draft process I'm sure he'll be an elite QB and Tennessee made a good choice. This is guy is a brutal athlete...
