We spoke with Norwegian pop sensations Marcus & Martinus, who won Melodi Grand Prix Junior in 2012, at the Hard Rock Cafe in Stockholm. Their debut album "Hei" went straight to number one on the Norwegian album charts. They will release songs in English for the first time later this year.

Does anybody know if they've ever lived in an English speaking country? Because their accent is way to good for them not to have had experience speaking with native speakers. And even then it usually takes an extended period of time in order to obtain such an accent(usually several months depending on the country of origin)... Maybe they go to one of those private schools where you only speak English? If anybody knows plz reply.

Scandinavians are overall pretty good at English. We learn English from a young age and have it as a mandatory subject in school. But they also work on their English outside school to perfect the pronunciation for their songs in English :)

Lea Bee I understand that, but to us it sounds idiotic that the interviewer speaks English to them, when he is Swedish and everyone (if not, then most) in Scandinavia understand swedish/danish/norwegian. All the other interviewers are speaking to them in their own language. Luckily some fans are translating those interviews, it's worse that the guys don't think about their fans who can't understand English! They never translate their English written status on IG or their English spoken videoes, but they do translate the Norwegian statusses and videos... That makes me irritated and I've begun to ask them every time they write English. They once answered me that they agreed that it was a great idea, but they still don't do it and that's wrong!
