Being a Liverpool fan and hearing this at the end of Ted Lasso was just fantastic. A great way to end the episode and gives us a sense of not losing hope even though they got relagated because there are brighter and better days ahead. 🥺

My brother was staying with me, he had cancer, was single, I was looking after him. He 'lived' in my bedroom and I slept in the spare room. I was with him one evening while he was listening to the radio and You'll Never Walk Alone came on sung beautifully by Marcus Mumford. It seemed quite apt and I cried. He passed away in that room less than a couple of weeks later on the morning of Easter Sunday so you can understand the tears I am crying now, listening to this.

Thank you for all your lovely comments in response to mine on this. This is the first time in the last two years since I made that comment that I have come onto this page and listened to this again. I am so sorry for your loss James Turner, cancer is a terrible thing. It is now over 3 years since my brother passed away and it still doesn't seem real, I can see him so vividly in my mind and hear his voice as though he were still here but then have to remember he isn't. Music and certain songs play a big part in the lives of many of us, taking us back to good and happy times, so we cherish them and hold on to them as much as we can.

I used to listen to this song many, many decades ago at the end of the Muscular Dystrophy telethon sung by Jerry Lewis and I was so proud to be American and see how the country came together to fight this horrible disease. We were strong, we loved our neighbors, we played safely in the streets till dark, we chased minnows in the creek and we were in the United States. This virus has shown me how many hateful, racist, ignorant, people who now are raising their children to become the same if not worse. I’ve lost my hope, my salvation, my spirit and my soul. Not even Marcus singing this beautiful piece brings me any peace. My only solace is that there are some who will gracefully emerge from this to raise consciousness children who will mend what we have destroyed.

I just can't see how I could have a life without her here with me. I got on the youtube site to take my mind off everything and this was the first thing I saw. I watched and listened, balled my eyes out for what seemed like hours (in fact, it was only a few minutes) and finally a sense of peace came over me. I didn't feel as alone as I had felt before and for that I am grateful.I still have a long ways to go but I'm hopefully better prepared to get there.

Happy BIRTHDAY Matthew!!!! You share a Birthday with my Daughter! She is now 22!! 12!! What a great age, I remember being 12 like it was yesterday! I'll be 49 in June 🤦 I love Mumford & Sons too. My fave song is Rose of Sharon 💜 I know the World seems upside down right now but always look for the golden sky on the horizon. There have been many flus/pandemics/wars/earthquakes throughout History but guess what, we're still here!! My advice to you is enjoy every single moment of your life. Celebrate the small accomplishments just as much as the big ones. Help your neighbor. Smile at the homeless person. Do well in school. Find your greatest passion in life and if you can, make a career out of it. Listen to the wisdom of your parents but also carve your own reality. Be kind. Be unique. Learn to love yourself deeply so that you are truly able to love others. Find and keep God close to your heart and never apologize for being yourself. Hope you have a WONDERFUL Birthday 🎂🎈🎂

Matthew, that just made me shed a tear! Glad your Uncle lived (: I grew up an Atheist. I always felt in my bones that we were created but my Parents were Atheists and shunned me anytime I would ask how we got here. I remember always looking up to the sky or looking at trees or seeing a pregnant woman and having so many unanswered questions. I was in alot of scary situations growing up in a not so safe place in Los Angeles. Many times I was close to death but at the last minute something changed and I never knew how I kept getting saved (until now). Then on 9/20/98 when I was sitting in a pew at a Church, my then sister in law invited me to, I was overtaken by the Holy Spirit. I had chills throughout my entire being and Jesus whispered to me that He loved me!!! As if He was physically there in my ear saying it! I stood up, walked to the front and as the Pastor was giving his sermon, I called out and said "I LOVE JESUS. I LOVE JESUS AND I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW"!!! Everyone turned towards me and started crying, the Pastor stopped talking and came down and took my hand and said to me, Trisha, you have a beautiful glow all around you! I then said, " I know God is real. He just spoke to me". He then led me in the Lords prayer and I was saved and written in the Lambs Book of Life. I was Baptized two weeks later on 10/4/98 in that same Church!! I have had alot of hardships in my life but now I have the Faith to get through them with a positive mind and spirit. I speak Blessings over your life Matthew. Thank you for the Birthday wishes for Jessica. I just spoke with her and sung her Happy Birthday. I can't take her anywhere because we have stay-at-home orders here in Texas but I told her that I would make it up to her LOL Stay safe, be well and have a great day today! Enjoy being young while you can, it goes by quickly young man ! 🎂🎂🎂🌈
