This was my high school senior's class song in 1960. It was special for several reasons in that we were the last graduating class of my high school Buckner Orphans Home in Dallas. There were 16 of us and all of us headed off to points unknown at age 18, most of us had no family while some had some aunts and uncles. Now I am 80, have lived a full life and this song played a major influence all through the years. I walked with God as He pointed me in the ways He wanted me to go. Half my class has passed on, and the other 7 are all in Texas while I am in a neighboring state. Every time I hear this song, it brings tears to my eyes, and no one seems to do it any better than Andre Rieu. It's a great song for anyone as a guide to your life. It worked for my high school class starting 62 years ago.

I am part of my beloved Liverpool FC family. This song means everything to us. The 97 the families and our 97 who watch over us. You'll Never Walk Alone is our family song, we are family at Liverpool FC. There is no such thing as strangers talking in the pub or in Anfield. Because this means more as Klopp rightly says. Shankly said . The socialism I believe in isn't really politics. It is a way of living. It is humanity. I believe the only way to live and to be truly successful is by collective effort, with everyone working for each other, everyone helping each other, and everyone having a share of the rewards at the end of the day. That might be asking a lot, but it's the way I see football and the way I see life.

I'm an American and I'm a Liverpool supporter. When we play the 12:30 match, I'm up at 4 am to get ready to watch at 4:30. I watch them all. Whether it's a league match, FA Cup, Carabao, you name it. I'm watching, supporting and participating from afar. I hope to make it to Anfield one day to see our Reds in person. I'd live to watch from the Kop but would gladly watch from anywhere. I want to watch with you my Liverpool family. I hope you'll accept me as you would any supporter from Merseyside. I'd like to enjoy a pint in a pub before and after and take it all in. I'm 54 so I hope I make it there. I love you all my Liverpool family.

TheEyeOfOdin1its FC liverpools main theme. But it was originally sang by Gerry and the Pacemakers. But the song has alot of meaning for many football fans. But this version is very different and im not quite sure why these people are so emotitional about it.
@JodieLovesL9 жыл бұрын
It's actually originally from the musical 'Carousel', sung to comfort a character after the death of her husband, and then reprised at the end with the husband telling his wife he loves her, so it means a lot to people who have lost someone close to them :)
@Call_Me_Echelon9 жыл бұрын
TheEyeOfOdin1 This is probably on Liberation Day. Over 8,000 American soldiers died in Operation Market Garden in the winter of 1944-45 to liberate the Netherlands. The graves of the US, Canadian, and British soldiers buried in cemeteries there are adopted by Dutch families who mind the grave, decorate it, and keep alive the memory of the soldier they have adopted. It is even the custom to keep a portrait of "their" American soldier in a place of honor in their home. Annually, on "Liberation Day," memorial services are held for "the men who died to liberate Holland." The day concludes with a concert. This is probably that concert.

I'm Brazilian and I'm very proud of you my compatriot Carmen Monarcha, you're in the same talent category as a young Paul McCartney and Elvis Presley. The mark of the great song is when it can be performad in different styles, by different people, and it sounds fresh and new. One thing i always appreciate about your music is now you don't "over sing". You don't pierce our eardrums, going up and down the scale, trying to hit every note you're capable of, just to show it off, just because you can. You use your voice to bring out the beauty of the song. I think that is so important and something lacking in many singers today. Lovely job, as always.🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷

This song means so much to me; it was sung at our wedding 50 years ago by my sister. When my youngest daughter was married she also had this song sung along with "Great is Thy Faithfulness". I have been through three types of cancer; these hymns came to mind. I understand that you had an illness. Remember this: I know Him who made me TO A PURPOSE as HE made Adam to till the Gardens of Eden. I know Him who called Abram to form His kingdom and Moses then David to rule over it TO A PURPOSE. And I know Him who called and saved me TO A PURPOSE as He called and saved Paul TO A PURPOSE - to preach the Gospel of our Lord and Savior to the Gentiles. Read Lamentations 3:19-23 and sleep well my brother. I had a procedure on my back this afternoon and these hymns give me comfort and peace. May God bless you and your family. John
